Wish to be Back

We had a good stay at this hotel.

The property is old but very well maintained. The staff we met was very polite. The sheets are clean and towels are replaced everyday. The location is walkng distance to major sights. They gave us a visitor ID card which gives us free access to buses within the zone.

The door in the toilet is uneven so its hard to close.

GREAT location. Super comfy stay.

It has an amazing location and the room itself is very pretty. Has huge windows and natural light. The access is super easy and convenient, you do not have to speak to anyone (being an introvert that’s a plus).

The bathroom smells a little bit like humidity. Not terrible at all.

Great location in a pretty but expensive town. The staff communicated very well via Whatsapp and answered quetions on Bookinjg.com very quickly. I would go back.

If I have to add something the carpet would benefit from a cleaning and for us, the room was rather hot. The AC controller was not in the room and it was too loud outside to open the window.

Not a proper hotel, disappointing and very small room.

Location is good, close to restaurants and attractions. Beds are comfortable. We got a discount pass to go around the city. There is a carpark on the other side of the road that costs 35 CHF per day.

The self check in is very complicated. You have a touchscreen to fill all your information in. Some people were having challenges and there was no one to help them out. Also you have a "self-service" station where you can take extra pillows and blankets but it was empty and again, no staff to ask for anything. The quadruple room is VERY SMALL, the beds are basically tied to each other and there is no room for luggage, just the small ones like backpacks. From the photos you can't tell how small they are. They have a room for luggage downstairs but it is inconvenient to go downstairs every time I need something. The lift is small and only fits one average adult each time. Also there was a broken glass in our room put there as clean one. Could be dangerous if we were not paying attention. It is definitely disappointing to stay in a "hotel" and not have any service provided.

Great location. We loved our room, which overlooked a charming city square. It had a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. It was great to have a kettle and fridge and Earl Grey teabags. There was no noise from the downstairs bar.

Comfortable stay but rooms need some improvement

Clean, comfortable and friendly communication but not great value for money. I would normally pay half as much for this type of room and service. Luzern in festival season…

Check in was a bit of a challenge but manageable, albeit tricky on a small iPhone. The check-in form is I bit clunky and the signature field didn’t respond to my touch. Also, checking in the second person, who had a separate room that I had booked for her, was hard. I still don’t know how I eventually got the second door code. The tourist card was sent only to me, with my name on it, but not to my friend. I can see that people with limited tech skills could be overwhelmed by the process. Layout and size of rooms was fine. One design issue at the door to the bathroom. There is a small step up with a very sharp edge, both I and my friend knocked our foot against it. This could easily be fixed with a wedge smoothing the transition from bedroom to bathroom floor level. Bar provisions: this was good and I noticed guests can top up tea (as well as toilet paper and other items) if needed. However I missed milk, which is available in small sachets that don’t need to be in the fridge. Fridge: this is definitely too loud! Cheap models that rattle in regular intervals through the night. I had to unplug it as it kept me awake. Earplugs is not an option for me, and I don’t expect to wear them in a room that cost this much much! There are more silent fridges.

The location was good!

The check-in process was very stressful and poor. The rooms were below expectation and the bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny and the quality of shampoo, soap etc were below par. Overall a very bad place to stay.

Was really just 2 bedroom hotel room but without a joint meeting place or lounge area. Also the number of emails re check in were excessive. They can from Booking.com and the property

Location is good

The rooms are very small and not for families. Booking.com should ensure they classify this hotel as a Non-family hotel. The lift is only for 1 person at a time and doesn’t go till 5th floor. We had difficulty in taking heavy bags from 4th to 5th floor by circular stairs. No space for suitcases in the room. The housekeeping was a tick in the box and with no cleaning in the bathroom and room. Contactless check-in was tedious. The photos posted on booking.com are misleading.

Greet if you're technologically adept.

The location was excellent and the room had air conditioning, which I used some of the time as Luzern was hot most days. The bed was enormous and there was a good reading light. The shower had very good water pressure.

It was my fault in a way but I found the check in process frustrating as I'm not used to an automated process. Despite arriving in working hours, there was no reply from the hotel phone number. It was only when the barman arrived that I gained access to my room! It was nice to have a big bed but ii meant the rest of the room was cramped.

Light spirit and fun to discover the messages all Over the Room, Nice facilities and good level of cleaning, easy process to check-in/check-out well explained Over the emails received. Good space and very good localization. Good to have some discounts on the bar also with a good environment. And thanks for the ear buffets on the Room but i believe no One uses (didn't felt the need, even with a jazz concert on the street on front of the hotel!

The Bath soap was missing, don't know if it's related but when i arrived the door was unlocked (semi Open) any others things where missing.

Location pretty convenient . Very comfortable bed but pillow is too soft. Internet connectivity is very good and fast. Room is spacious. Have nespresso coffee machine which is good for us.

Well located little hotel for a short stay.

1. Good quality beds - slept well! Spacious and bright (when drawing the curtains) 2. Location - a leisurely 15-20 minute walk (with luggage) from main train station . You get to pass by the Chapel bridge and other places of interest . 3. Check-out process - straightforward (pls do the same for check-in:))

Check-in mechanism … felt cumbersome and clinical. Booked 2 rooms. Automated info supply came for 1 room, but nothing for Room 2. Sadly, response on this specific issue wasn’t that timely. Suggest to simplify the check-in process, without having to go through Goki app etc?

We loved the location The check in procedures were clear and easy Clean room and shower Kettle and coffee machine in room was a bonus Clear instructions in the room, with Wi-Fi connection code etc

It was a superior double room, but we found it small and cramped. We had an attic room, with very little head room and my husband hit his head during the night on a beam Apart from that it was all good.
