It’s just okay but never again.

Center of CBD

The check-in process was extremely disorganised and disappointing. Despite booking our stay four weeks in advance, our room was still not available upon arrival. After a long and exhausting flight, we were hoping for a smooth and efficient check-in, but instead we were left waiting in the reception area for approximately 45 minutes. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of communication and customer care. No staff member approached us to provide updates, apologise for the delay, or check on our situation while we were clearly tired and waiting. We had to sit and wait without knowing when the room would be ready, which made the experience feel unwelcoming and poorly managed. Considering that our reservation was made well ahead of time, we expected better preparation and professionalism. Unfortunately, the disorganised handling of arrivals significantly affected our first impression of the hotel and caused unnecessary stress at the start of our trip.

Location is great, staff were helpful and friendly.

The only thing we found inconvenient and were disappointed with was the 3pm check in time as it didn't give us much time to freshen up before we had to head out to a concert. Was definitely better when check in time was earlier. The prices go up when an advent is on but the use of the room has shortened. Extra house keeping staff could solve this issue.

Telephone in room didnt work. Wifi login didnt work. There was a woman standing at the reception telling your checkin assistant her life story for 10 minutes. People were getting agitated behind. They were tired and wanted to get to their rooms. Everyone stated telling the woman to hurry up. She didnt move. The assistant didn't cut the woman short and ask her to move on. She simply kept listening to her and smiling. There were alot of pissed off people.

No late night room service during a major concert seemed odd, streaming to TV didn't work reliably. Spent the time to tell them of the issues and no response.

Our room had a very strong smell of 'old men' which was very unpleasant smell and made us feel disgusted. Two ceiling light was flushing, needed to change to light bolts, shower handle was broken, but fixed with black tape.. many things were broken but not fixed, breakfast was the worst breakfast we've ever eaten at the hotel. Dry scramble eggs, no taste, everything tasted so bad, there were no milk, coffees tasted horribly sour and bitter, old fruits that must be cut few days ago, old banana, sweet can fruits. totally regretted to stayed there., never again.

Pleasant stay

The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The view was also reasonable.

The size of the bathroom. It is NOT the one has pictures. Much smaller actually. The bathroom sink was not in the actual bathroom and when sitting on the toilet my knees touch the shower glass.

Comfy and convenient

Beds were super comfy, location was convenient without being noisy or too busy.

We arrived very early in the morning due to a midnight arrival flight - got given the wrong room ( one king size bed for four travelers obviously doesn't work). . As a family with young kids relocating at 3am that was quite annoying. Also rung in for a simple request to house keeping and was told the sachets were on their way - waited close to an hour and had to call back to make sure they hadn't forgotten.

Very disappointed!

The location is good.

I specifically booked and paid for a city view room and clearly communicated this requirement in advance. However, the room I was assigned was on a low level and did not offer any city view at all. Despite raising this concern multiple times during my stay, my request was consistently ignored by the staff, and no satisfactory resolution was offered. This experience was particularly frustrating, as the room provided did not match what I had paid for and it was a very tiny room for 4 of us. I expected a higher level of attentiveness and service. I hope you will review this matter and advise how it can be addressed appropriately.

Hotel is feeling old & tired, feel like it’s trading on an existing reputation. I expect more for the money these days. Surprisingly our linen was dirty, blood stains were hidden on the sheet at the bottom of the bed, they did not look laundered. Buffet breakfast was nothing to rave about & poorly labelled.

A nice hotel for a short saty in the CBD

Ideally located in a quiet location close to the Sky Tower withing easy walking distance of Queen Street. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and modern

Enjoyed, and very helpful staff

The Staff were lovely to deal with despite the issues getting our room sorted. Booking.com had over booked the room we had booked, the staff explained this clearly and gave us a free upgrade, upon viewing the room the bathroom didn't meet our needs. When we pointed this out, it was no problem, and another room was organized with the manager escorting us to our room. The staff were very helpful and supportive.

Was clean and tidy.

Accused by staff of damages already present when we arrived to our room. Tried to charge my partner and I $500 poor service from all all front of reception staff. Couldn’t get there story straight. Rushed check in while we had two upset little ones. Held our $100 bond in the end and haven’t been contact about further investigation so very disappointed in our stay and on top of that location was horrible parking was limited and very expensive for hotel parking. Rooms were very noisy could hear everything in the city. As well as people in rooms next door. not very family friendly for a family stay with little ones.

We were told there was only valet parking and we didnt know where to park ourselves so ended up paying $48 for parking at sky tower when they told us if we validated our ticket when we had a meal there that it would be free. Very annoying
