Would have been great without those chemicals. Why?

Comfortable part of a wonderful old house!

The overwhelming smell of plug-in air “fresheners”. I’m allergic to them and so sneezing fits nonstop until I found them all - FOUR!!! - in a tiny house. They went straight outside but we couldn’t get rid of the awful smell

Beautiful Cottage

A beautiful lovely cottage set in the heart of Stratford, the location was absolutely perfect. Lovely host who responded to messages quickly. We loved staying here, felt right at home straight away, easy walk into town and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Parking wasn't an issue either, we were always able to find a space nearby.

Location was great and the house had loads of character

Lock box for the key had the same combination as the next door cottage. Subsequently, when we arrived we found the lock box to our cottage empty as the holiday makers next door had mistakenly entered our accommodation! Lock boxes need different combinations. Cottage owner was swift to sort out the mix-up, but it was a bit of an upsetting start to the holiday. Also, the weather was very windy one night and I think a tree branch must have been hitting the roof as there was a lot of noise outside when we were trying to sleep in the double bed bedroom. Owner might want to check that out in case there’s damage to the roof slates.

The location was perfect and walking distance to all tourist attractions and the theatre. The historical character and age of the property added to the charm of the cottage.

Everything we hoped for.

The location was perfect. Right in the centre of Stratford yet the little courtyard was so tranquil and quiet. The cottage was full of character and really cosy. Spotlessly clean.

Very dusty, shower head wouldn’t stay still. Someone had left a t shirt stuffed in the sofa. 2 chairs were not comfy if staying in property for any length of time to chat. Only given one toilet roll for 4 people for 3 days. And no instruction or local information nearest supermarket, recommendations for local restaurants etc etc. poor garden view. Untidy for the summer to sit and enjoy.

The cottage was comfortable, clean, quaint and very well located. The attention to detail with regards to providing everything we needed, was exceptional.

The place was incredible. It was beautifully done up and was extremely cosy. I'd recommend it to anyone who is travelling with a small family.

The communication links were so pointless. None of my booking was visible so I couldn't make any changes unless I phoned. When I phoned, everything was sorted out in a heartbeat. Honestly, didn't see the point in having the messages via booking.com but only the ability to communicate via the website and login. Waste of time and the only annoying part of the booking.

Location was brilliant, a lovely cottage , very comfortable and cosy.nice outdoor space , really very good with everything done to a high standard.. quiet away from the main road. Setting lived upto our expectations and would definitely like to return .

Oven not great needs updating.. a couple of small issues with cleanilnes , cutlery tray needed wiping out etc so a little bit more attention to detail would make it perfect.

Perfect for a few days in Stratford

The location was great, the cottage was clean, well maintained and reasonably comfortable. The owner answered my questions quickly.

The stools at the breakfast bar were a bit awkward to use, made eating in the accommodation a bit of a faff.

Splendid house only 5 minutes walk to Shakespeare’s house

Beautiful house, in an excellent location. It’s only a few minutes walk from all the most important tourist sites. It’s very quiet and it has a very lovely garden, too bad it rained all the time while we where there. It was super easy to get in, and it was really nice of the owner to offer us a parking permit. Overall an extremely pleasant stay.

There was no soap for the shower and only 2 toilet rolls. Plus just a few of tea bags and coffee pods (very nice coffee though, so that’s a plus.) for breakfast. So we had to do a little shopping on the day we arrived.

We enjoyed Stratford very much.

Good location. Quiet. Good supply of dishes and utensils. Beds comfortable.

The courtyard garden was a pile of rubble and weeds which made sitting outside on the patio not very inviting. Low beam in the sitting area. Have to watch your head. A small table would have been much more comfortable for eating rather than the hard bar stools.

Excellent facilities, very clean perfect proportions and so unique it was beautiful. The location was excellent for the town centre and the main attractions of the town. Will definitely return.

Great locatuon

Open fire, location, piping hot bath water, comfortable beds, and the character of the cottage!!

All good in general, could have benefitted from a microwave and definitely lids for the large pans as the halogen hob had a low outage and took a while to cook. More comfortable stools as there was no dining table so you had to eat around the island.

Everything was lovely 😊. Location was excellent and 10 minutes walk to station. Right in the centre of all amenities. Lovely place to stay. Comfy beds and everything you could want provided at the property. wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended.

Location was excellent.

Lighting was not good in the bedrooms for reading. Couldn’t find the thermostat for two days which meant heating on in the night. Very hot and uncomfortable. There was a car park across the road which would have been useful to have known. Instead I had to use the multi story. Very expensive.

No parking pass provided so got a parking ticket this is abominable and put us of using the site again couldn't find well hidden WiFi code needed a welcome pack explaining parking,coal for fire,WiFi. A microwave would have been useful Pack should be on counter in front of you as you enter
