Disappointing to book for 5 and have house prepared for 4. Lack of resolution to issues reported.

Overall standards were poor. Booked for 5, linen and towels for 4. Requested more. Promised delivery on second day of the stay. Did not arrive.

Location, location location. This property is perfectly placed for exploring Stratford and that is why we chose it.

Great location, spacious property, lovely living area. Clean fresh bedding and towels.
Lack of upkeep to the property - blinds broken in both bedrooms (help together with tape), lock panels falling off near dishwasher, squeaky bed frame that needed tightening. Back patio area not very welcoming.

The location is great to walk into Stratford and places to eat etc. The house itself is nice but needs some tlc, no handles on doors, blinds broken.
Everything in the kitchen cupboards wad filthy. Plates, pans etc. Wd decided not to eat breakfast in as the dirty utensils, plates put us off. Outside was full of cigarette butts. Only 1 hand towel provided got 4 people.

Location on busy road was noisy,however property was pretty good.

Rear yard needs improving and tidying,old furniture visible,said there was free parking had to park away from property and pay not good.Front door needs replacing as it's very noisy from road.

Ok, but could be better.
Host was nice and quick to respond with requests, (although with things that should have already been in there) I.e: kitchen roll, bathroom floor mop ect. Front room large and comfortable with big eating table, large kitchen with good fridge/freezer and cooker, dish washer, washing machine (none drying), microwave, iron and board, cloths airer etc. Parking permit included, (a short walk down the road). Location is very good. Beds comfortable (despite creaking). Property was clean.
Stairs are like climbing a ladder, and the banister is set to high to be of any use. Door at base of stairs unnecessary, if closed from downstairs you could not open it from the stairs side (easy fix, with a new door latch), but it would look better open plan. Shower looks nice on the photo's but its unpractical with it being situated right in the middle of the bathroom, meaning the water go's every where. So if someone wants to use the toilet after, you need to make sure the floor is mopped dry in case of a slip, plus no lock on the door, and no sink plug. Bedrooms could do with a little tlc, no chest of draws, and the bed frames need tightening up because they make a very annoying loud creaking noise when you just slightly move let alone turn over, (easy fix). Very little tv channels on the main telly in the front room. Kitchen, some utensils need replacing, i.e frying pans etc. because they were unusable, one tea towel, no tumble dryer. Situated on a busy main road, front door needs replacing due to bad ageing damage. Im sure that when the host reads this, he will put most of these small, but annoying things right.

A gem of a cottage in a wonderful location.
The location is excellent. The cottage is cosy and well appointed. We were visiting the RSC and the cottage was walking distance to the town and theatre. Great information and kept up to date by the host. Brilliant to have the parking permit. Thank you
Due to the weather the front door was swollen and difficult to close and open. Sure this will be dealt with.
