The location of the house is fantastic, a very short walk from the town centre. The house has a comfortable lounge, a very well equipped kitchen and three bedrooms. It has been done to a good standard and has some quirky features, including an amazing bath. To reach the bedrooms you need to go up some very steep stairs, which weren't a problem for us but could be for anyone less mobile. The highlight for my 8 year old great-nephew was the games room in the basement which was equipped with a pool table and darts. We spent an enjoyable evening down there.
The promised free parking didn't materialise because of a problem with the council. From past reviews this seems to be a common issue. We were informed of the issue at the last minute, which was disappointing. A positive was that the owner immediately refunded our parking fee and there are plenty of car parks within a few minutes walk.

Lovely and cosy, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with everything you needed. Bedrooms clean and comfy. Bathrooms spotless and lots of toiletries available to use. The location is perfect for walking into town and loads to do in Stratford-upon-Avon, such a beautiful place. Recommend the MAD museum for kids and adults! The escape room was good too. Daran was great to communicate with, replied really quickly. Great host. We would return.
Nothing.

Rarely do we not have any quarrels about which room we all have as a family of 4 here we had 3 large double bedrooms and 2 excellent bathrooms with a double sink with snazzy feature taps as well!
This lovely house is as close to the centre of Stratford as is possible literally minutes walk from everything - perfect mini break.
Nothing just great all round.

Great position close to town, but still quite quiet. Well equipped kitchen.
Decoration poor in places, needs updating. Only just big enough for 7. Poor not matching cutlery.
Be aware the stairs are steep.

House was well located in the centre of Stratford. All bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds and loved the 4 poster and bathroom with a chandelier. Very helpful and communicative host.
Due to a problem with the council, the host was not able to get a road parking permit for our car. But not a big issue as plenty of car parks nearby.

Great location for Stratford town centre. House has everything you need for a great weekend break. Good communication with the host. Will be looking to book again.

The accommodation was very quaint, like stepping back in time to Shakespeare's era, but with modern amenities. All 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are beautifully decorated, and come with TV's. The family bathroom on the 1st floor has a lovely slipper bath and toilet. The main bedroom is also on the 1st floor, with a lovely shower room on-suite with toilet. The apartment was very clean with everything you need for self catering. There is a cute glass enclosed weatherproof back verandah with dining table. Walk through this area from the kitchen, out the back door and into a little private garden area. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, clean and convenient, within close walking distance to everything Shakespeare. We would stay here again.
Parking was temporarily unavailable at the apartment. We were able to unload our bags at the front door, before taking our car to a 24 hour Pay for Parking, just 8 minute easy walk away. Main bedroom mattress is due for replacement. Apartment is on 2 floors with narrow steep stairs to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The steps did not bother us, but might be an issue for a mobility challenged person.

All was great.

This was just a beautiful house. We were so impressed with all of the amenities! It’s located within walking distance to much of the city and nice and quiet at night. The owner is amazing and very communicative.
The stairs inside were a little hard for us, but otherwise it was just beautiful!

Great location for Stratford upon Avon and Daran was an excellent host.
Nothing at all……all I would mention is that the stairs to bedrooms 2 and 3 are a little steep. Not an issue for us but wanted to mention for future guests.

Location.
Advertised as free parking. No free parking. Very poor. Very inconvenient. Would have expected some sort of compensation. No compensation offered so far.

Location 5 minutes walk to the RSC theatre and main Street.2 minutes walk to back entrance M and S for food .
Nice bathroom fittings
Beds were comfortable
Small back garden to sit in
Reasonable price
Mugs were chunky and stained..Stale stagnant water smell in kitchen ..Owner going to sort this out.
It is a 3 storey characterful property with very steep stairs which we were aware of .Handrail is not a round one so difficult to grip .2 handrails would help especially with night trips downstairs to the toilet. Difficult to carry cases up . It is slightly faded g lory with a well worn stair carpet which blunts the effect of the new kitchen equipment and new bathroom fittings .

We liked the vicinity to the shops, pubs and center. Quite literally a 3 minute walk which was fantastic. The townhouse itself is perfect for a small group as it has 3 bedrooms, one onsuite, a small living room for relaxing in, a fully equipped kitchen and a conservatory area for dining. I really appreciated how this property already had everything for its guests such as lots of towels, shower gels, kitchen & toilet rolls, washing up soap, salt/pepper and lots of pots, pans and kitchen utensils. It felt more like a home from home.
Although we stayed for 4 nights, there was some drunken street noise on one of the nights in the early hours. However this was only one night and perhaps unavoidable for the close proximity to the center which was more important for us. Obviously this is not the owner's fault.
4.0 / 10.0
It was located close to the town and our wedding venue.
The paint from the ceiling in the kitchen was peeling off from a previous leek from bathroom above. It would only sleep 8 if it was 4 couples staying as it only had double beds. The shower that is in the en suite is tiny. Being 4ft 8 and petite just to give an idea when I say it’s small. Handles missing off wardrobe with screw still sticking through the door. It felt as if we were being watched as the owner informed us it was closely monitored by cctv which gave us a feel that our privacy was being invaded. A lot of the crockery had chips in them. The stairs were dangerously steep and narrow and wouldn’t be suitable for elderly or disabled people. Watch your head through the doorways they are low. Overall needs some updating and TLC. The drapes of the four poster was all torn carpets on the stars were ripped and torn. Overall for £200 a night it wasn’t great.

Communication from the host Daran was excellent, very prompt and clear information. Location of property was great, only a few minutes from the river/centre. Would definitely stay again.

Location amazing very central. The kitchen, bathrooms and linen etc all very clean. Kitchen well equipped . Bedrooms comfortable good size etc Nice little outdoor area for morning coffee / glass of wine . Overall ideal for 3 people 3 nights .
The downstairs rooms would benefit from a bit of redecorating. ( but this didn’t detract from our stay) The kitchen ceiling does need attention .

What a beautiful house. Everything we needed was there, including a small garden. It was clean and comfortable, and a stones throw away from all the attractions Stratford Upon Avon has to offer. Highly recommend to anyone. The host is a delight to communicate with and the welcome sign was a lovely surprise.
The stairs to the 3rd floor are exceptionally steep but other than that everything was perfect.

I can't rate this place highly enough - the location was fabulous, and the accommodation itself was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything you could need. It was a fabulous bargain as well and made for a perfect stay.
I would be mindful of the steep stairs if you have any mobility issues/cranky knees... it's a long way up to the top and the stairs are very steep. As the host mentions, the walls are quite thin as it's an old terraced house, so you need to be mindful of the neighbours but this isn't a problem really as it's wonderfully quiet, but be aware of the noise you are making.

First of all the property is in a great location as it is only 5 minute walk into town. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge which was a nice touch. Had clear message prior to arrival about getting into the property and owner was very quick to respond to any questions.
We had a pass for a parking space but took us over 30 minutes to find one as the street was full. This was possibly due to the Christmas Markets being on.
The kitchen was well equipped for a longer stay, plenty of Tea, coffee and sugar available.
The stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow so could be a problem to less mobile guests. The place could do with some TLC as there are a lot of well worn fittings around the building plus the door to kitchen is damaged and roof leaking onto table in the extension. Front door doesn’t close fully either.
Finally the place could do with a really good clean as there is plenty of dust around the place.

Couldn’t get much more central, so handy for a great range of bars and restaurants. I thought we’d never use the pool table and darts board, but they turned out to be so much fun. Heating was excellent and welcome and the rooms very cost.
Hard to find the key instructions on the many emails which left is stranded outside for a while. Shower was tiny.

Location was fantastic.
Bottle of wine was a nice touch.
Instructions to access the property were clear and easy to follow.
Cleanliness & attention to detail poor - cobwebs, toilet brush in en-suite dirty, freezer drawers broken and freezer needed defrosting, lots of chipped plates/cups, broken toilet seat, smoke alarm hanging off ceiling. Overall the house didn’t feel clean and it smelt musty.
Lots of rules and the host charges extra for every little thing!
Internal cameras were off-putting and made us feel uncomfortable.

Although only stayed for one night, the location being so close to the centre was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and the property had everything that you would need, nice touch with the bottle of wine in fridge.
Definitely recommend.
All good
