The position, close to train station and very central

The bed was really small and not comfortable which is a shame because there is plenty of space. And could have done with a deep cleaning..

Great little cottage with everything we needed for a quick break. Perfect location for the town centre and very handy to have a car park next door.

The front door is PVC and had gone out of alignment. I couldn't lock it from the inside on the first evening. I finally worked out that I had to lift up the whole door to get it to lock. This is not acceptable. Despite my feedback in February 2025, the curtains are still woefully inadequate. One cheap pair has been split for the two windows meaning that a thin, single curtain is stretched across each window when Laburnam Cottages are beside the police station which has glaring, bright security lights shining all night. Very hard to sleep without an eye mask. Both windows need proper blackout blinds or curtains. Very unsatisfactory.

Few minutes walk to the centre but still nice quiet location,, bed was comfortable, had everything we needed for a weekend break after a mix up with dates for our original accommodation. We go to Stratford upon avon a few times a year with family and have already recommended the cottages to family for future trips.

Internet was a bit slow when we tried to watch a film during a night in but not a big deal as we don't usually use the Internet on breaks away.

The location is perfect and pretty much in the centre of Stratford. Very good value for money. The host is very fast at responding to any queries and very helpful. It is a very well equipped cottage. The sofa bed in the lounge is very comfortable. I parked at the Grove House car park around the corner (48 hrs for £14).

I loved my get away at this cottage very private and so local to everything. You walk through the car park at the left of cottage and you are by a dog friendly pub plus all the shops. Location was perfect few minutes walk to the train station. Its dog friendly and there is an area to the right of the cottage where you can walk the dog and sit on benches. Few scuffs on stuff but clean enough to stay. I would definitely stay again. You cant park your car outside but big car park literally next door. Stratford is so beautiful so much to explore.

The apartment was unclean. Dusty. Mould on window frames. Stained, smelly sofa. Not enough hot water for a shower.

Our unit 5 was fully furnished including an oven. There were sufficient cooking utensils to utilise. A fridge with a freezer was a bonus. Plenty of space to iron, do yoga and move freely around. Would highly recommend this unit. There was a dresser and wardrobe in the bedroom.

The step up into the bathroom is very high and no handrail to hold onto. Would be a concern for people who have mobility issues. Suitcases need to be stored in the living area as the bedroom is quite small. A long length mirror would also help as the positioning of the only mirror in the unit was awkwardly placed in the bathroom. These are only small maintenance issues as overall we loved the unit.

we couldn`t get a signal on the tele then on the saturday we had no hot water but apart from that everything was fine we loved the break

Position of property great. Nice enclosed yard. Tidy and clean.

Bathroom needs update, maintenance and no shower mat. Lots of exposed wiring in lounge, luckily dog slept in cage, only one key and sometimes you need 2, especially if fire risk. Partner couldn't take dog out as i would be locked in if still asleep.

Had to ask for the bed linen for the sofa bed as there wasn't any, didn't realise until we got back on the first night so had to sleep on the sofa bed without any bedding , when I messaged them was told it was there in the cabinet, it wasn't so I've deducted a point. 😏

The hoover didn’t work when we wanted to clean before leaving.

There were a plethora of issues from the point of booking. We were not informed that an additional £100 would be required for a security deposit and that this would only be returned 72 hours after departure. We only booked the accommodation as we were short of money at the time of booking. The deposit took longer to be returned than our actual 2 night stay. The shower controls were stiff, which meant that none of us could take a morning shower. The water was booking hot. Annoying. The controls were apparently then fixed, but we were not informed of this important update. Responses to our various bits of feedback were met mostly with robot like scripted responses. Even responses to previous reviews do not address specific comments but seem to disregard people's concerns. The reviews are just met with generic "thank yous." This is unhelpful, and as a customer, you don't feel heard. We were surprised by how basic the provision of supplies was. No salt or pepper or shampoo or conditioner. I understand people staying for a week would bring their own supplies, but for weekend stays, these additions would have been helpful and welcoming. The door of the apartment lacked a number. Easy fix. We initially thought the apartment was occupied as the windows upstairs were open, and people could be heard. Without the door number, we are uncertain we were in the right place. The location was convenient to the town centre, but the apartment frontage was not very pretty. The courtyard area could be much more welcoming with flowers and furniture. Frankly, none of us were impressed. The bed was low and uncomfortable. There was damage to the wall behind the bedroom door handle, which was noticed once we arrived, but we were not reassured that we would have our security deposit returned when we enquired. Above all, we should have been informed that the car park next door was ANPR operated, and stopping there may incur a charge.

No street number provided and signage small or faded. Felt like walking into someone’s back yard. Freezer was iced over and unusable. Hole in floor under carpet upstairs. Minor cleaning issues but nothing we could not work around. Easier to leave our bags downstairs than tackle stairs at our age.

Tidy apartment close to centre. Very convenient. Most of what we needed for a 3 night stay. Lovely enclosed outdoor area, shame no seating to sit outdoors. Good parking close by.

Low bed, uncomfortable sofa/bed, only a small amount of products such as washing up liquid, oven needed cleaning, shower difficult to control. Wardrobe doors could do with some oil!

The bathroom floor was dirty when we arrived but 1h after complaining, two cleaning ladies showed up to clean it and gave us cookies to apologize.

Location to town centre

Bathroom very poor and in need of refurbishment. Bedroom linen not ironed and didn't look clean.

Great location, easy to get right into the centre of Town. The cottage was cosy and just right for us.

There were a couple of very minor issues. The chair broke (or was already broken). And they fixed it with just a screw, they didn’t fix a bleeping fire alarm. Parking cost extra but was close to the property.

Booked for a business booking, guys were very happy with the place. Clean, as described and very reasonably priced. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Thank you!

The accommodation was within walking distance of the city center and main attractions, which was very convenient. It was also quiet and peaceful, as we stayed in the last cottage on the property. A nice touch was that we each received a small biscuit on arrival. During our stay, the heating worked well, the bed was comfortable, and everything was reasonably clean. The kitchen was equipped with basic utensils and appliances for cooking, although we didn’t use them.

The internet connection for the TV was a bit slow, and we didn’t use the Wi-Fi, but the mobile signal was also quite weak in the area. In the bathroom, there was no soap or shower gel provided – the soap dispenser had water in it.
