Great location for exploring the town and for returning to rest and relax.

Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Our host was very helpful before and during our stay via messages.

Great weekend getaway!

A lovely home, convenient location. Permit parking sorted by host in advance. Basic necessities, condiments, cleaning supplies, etc. all at the property. Easy to understand heating controls and enough wood left for a cosy evening fire. Nice gardens too, though didn't get to use them because of the weather.

I have stayed at Bakers Dozen before, my friend and I absolutely love it . It's in a fabulous location, it is cosy and comfortable. The host always leaves lovely gifts for you, wine and cakes this week, perfect.

Excellent house, close to town, which will meet all your needs and more. ❤️

We arrived to find a lovely warm and welcoming house, with all you could need for your stay. There are also two super little gardens if you want to enjoy the outside space. The property is of a high standard, very clean, with nice extra touches such as welcome gifts, which made us feel special. (It also has a log burner, which made it feel even cosier.) The kitchen was well equipped (as was the whole house), so you could dine in, but it is also close to town with lots of great places to eat, drink, and be merry. There are plenty of great walks, shops and the river close by. (The property has a really helpful information booklet, which has clearly been thought through, so it answered any questions.) The beds are comfy, the rooms are quiet, and we all slept well. The bathroom was lovely, and it is clear the owner has put a lot of love into the whole house for the guests to enjoy. It was great to have parking with the property, a bonus at this central location. The owner was really helpful and responded quickly and comprehensively to messages. I would highly recommend Baker's Dozen. There was nothing we didn't like. Great property, great location, great owner, great price. Book it. You will love it too. Jules

Great location a couple of minutes walk into centre, 15 minutes to theatres and river, parking available, great cocktail bar 2 minutes walk away. Bakers dozen was home from home everything we needed for a long weekend, clean and comfortable. Outdoor space and dog friendly if you are bringing your 4 legged friend.

We liked everything about it. We struggled to get a parking space when we arrived so parked on the public car parking across the road for 1 hour and then we managed to get a space.

Great place, great host and great location

This property was great - centrally located and clean. It was great for my family (2 adults, 2 children). The host was also excellent - responding to questions very quickly. I would recommend.

The property only had 1 toilet so it was a bit annoying for our family of 4. That said, we knew this in advance so I am not complaining at all, rather, it is just something to be aware of. Note we would be more than happy to stay in this place again.

Overall lovely property and we would definitely stay again.

Excellent location - very close to town. Good size house for a family of 4. Essentials all covered - tea, coffee, sugar etc and also really appreciated the little extras, such as fresh milk, fresh flowers and gingerbread biscuits for our children.

Bedrooms were extremely light at nighttime, could have done with a blackout blind or darker curtains. Also lack of wardrobe space as there was only one wardrobe for both the bedrooms.

A great time in an exceptional property

We loved everything about the property. The location was so close to the town centre of Stratford, a few minutes walk. The house was exceptionally clean with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We loved the extra touches Mirren had put into the house to make it feel like a home. The beds were comfy and the shower was powerful.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, we just wish we had longer there.

Superb

Mirren was so helpful and flexible. Place was clean and bright and had everything you needed. Also, walking distance to supermarkets, town centre, and station.

Bed was hard and could feel the springs in the mattress and the roll down blinds does not cover the windows enough so the street lights was quite disturbing at night. Master bedroom faces Arden street which is quite busy and noisy .

Fabulous property exceeding our expectations

Clean and fully equipped. The owner, Mirren, was extremely helpful and any queries were answered almost immediately. The property is in a good location for the train station and the town centre. The parking permit was extremely useful and we had no difficulties in finding a space. it may, however be more difficult in summer. There are however several car parks in the vicinity. The two gardens are a great addition to the property and would be fabulous had the weather been warmer.

The property is on a busy road and the traffic was a little noisy at peak times but that is counter balanced by the advantage of staying in such a well equipped, reasonably priced property in the centre of Stratford.

Enjoyable and relaxing Stratford is a lovely place

The property was perfect and had everything we needed including Wine milk and cake too for us on arrival . The property is very central to the town centre and ideal for our cockapoo with items for a pet there and a small garden at the rear. Mirren thought of everything
