Lovely situation. So close to Stratford and it's pubs, restaurants and shops. Everything we needed in the house. Warm, comfortable and clean.
Can't think of anything. Been nice to have parking for 2 cars but layby down Street was only a 2 minute walk. Number of drinking glasses needs review.

Fab location, clean, very warm in minus weather. All equipment we needed to eat, sleep and bathe.
Nothing. Would definitely stay again.

Very warm and comfortable cottage. Well equipped. Good location for returning between matinée and evening performances for a rest, and a quick meal.
Parking on site is a bonus in Stratford.
Have been coming to Stratford for the theatre for very many years (since 1968 actually) and have tried it all: up and home in a day; B&Bs; “upmarket” hotels; Premier Inn / Travelodge; campsite on the outskirts; campsites even further out in the Cotswolds. Now, cottages based centrally meet our needs. This suited us perfectly.

Location was excellent. House had everything you need for a stay. Beds comfortable
Only a downstairs toilet which was a little inconvenient for our older parents who have to go quite often in the night . And was a very cold room . Over all though we had a great stay and enjoyed our little break Thankyou

Location couldn’t be better, very close to the town and river. Very big quiet garden.
Clean property. Amazing shower.
There’s a pub a few doors down we ate at which serves Indian food. highly recommend.
Very helpful hosts who answered quickly.

Great location, lovely cottage, great helpful hosts. The house was really clean, cosy and great for a weekends stay and a 5 minute walk into town.
Loved the added touch of board games available to play!
Nothing to not like about the property itself. however small note was there was no cork screw in the property and we were only given half a toilet roll for 2 nights with 4 people so had to buy our own

The bathroom was Dorney downstairs at the back of the property so difficult for my husband in the night

Everything about it, the cottage, the garden, the location
The correspondence with the owners was first class throughout
It is a minor but worth mentioning. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs and at the far end of the property and if you have difficulties with steep stairs this may cause you problems in the early hours. All of these properties are designed like this.

This is a comfortable clean cottage with parking for one car, providing the customers are physically able then the town centre is easily reached within 5 to 10 minutes on foot. Great selection of restaurants and pubs. The local area is very attractive and we got to see a black swan!
All good.

The cottage is spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there is free parking at the front for one car (the second car was parked at a nearby payable public car park). The cottage is within a short walk from the town centre, some pubs, a shell garage with a small shop and the ferris wheel. Both bedrooms are spacious, as is the dining area, and there's access to a pleasant garden with seating. We enjoyed staying at the cottage.

Location, bathroom, bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and dining room , garden
Lack of laundry facilities was a disappointment
A washing machine would have been more useful than a dishwasher

Excellent location. Well appointed home - stylishly and comfortably furnished. Quick, friends and helpful communication with hosts throughout. One of the best properties we’ve stayed in.
Busy road and steep staircase with downstairs bathroom but no issue for our group.
Parking space tight lengthways if a saloon (bins make length a bit shorter so need to back up close. Backing in during a quiet moment on road recommended as might be tricky if go in forwards to reverse out if peak traffic. However, drivers seemed courteous letting us out.

From the moment we opened the front door, we felt comfortable and at home. Instant feeling of relaxation. The property is very well maintained to a high standard. We took an energetic dog who loved the secure garden. There was absolutely nothing we could criticise even if we tried. Within 24 hours of arriving we were checking our calendars to see when we could book it again. Absolutely perfection.
Nothing, it was perfect.

House was very nice in a convenient location.
Would have liked a downstairs toilet etc.
8.0 / 10.0
The house was a great location for exploring Stratford upon Avon, the river and town was approx a five minute walk. There was a pub which served good meals a couple of minutes walk from the house.
The front door was extremely difficult to lock and unlock ( may be an idea to have this looked at) the rear garden was a good size, but would have been nicer to sit out in if the lawn was cut and weeded.
The addition of a washing machine would be a real asset too.

Great location, nice secluded garden
Narrow kitchen and on a noisy road

Comfy beds
Good shower
Excellent position for town
It needed a good clean. We had to wipe all surfaces and tables. Bedrooms had not been hoovered- babies dummy under chest of drawers. Parking was ok but up a kerb. Would be good to have a j-cloth and a dishwasher tablet, the dishwasher was smelly from lack of use! Just needs a bit of talc. We would still stay again.

The location and the garden
There were cobwebs everywhere. The cups and cooking utensils were not clean, neither was the sink and cooker.
The front door lock still sticks as previously reported and the handle to the window next to it was broken so could not open.this constitutes a fire hazard.

The location was great, the cottage was spacious and had everything we needed, the kids loved it so the adults were happy!
Minor cleaning issues (under dresser in the larger bedroom was a dummy a previous guest had forgotten), a few cobwebs, etc. but nothing really to complain about. I had thought there might be a trampoline I. The back garden from the pictures but there wasn’t. Not a problem as I hadn’t said anything to the kids but might be worth swapping the picture as someone might be disappointed.

Clean, comfortable and very convenient

A lovely warm, comfortable cottage in an excellent central location. Parking on site.
The bathroom being on the ground floor although we appreciate this is the case with small Victorian terrace cottages.
6.0 / 10.0
Location, garden, off-street parking & cleanliness.
Accessibility not suitable for elderly guests. The bathroom is not ideal being on the ground floor and cold due to being part of the extension. Some facilities could do with investment for example toaster, lightbulbs etc.
Off street parking is a great addition however would benefit from a dropped curb like the neighbouring properties.
Welcome Email was good but would prefer a welcome pack, helps to add that personal touch.
Some of the rooms require TLC for example stains on the bedroom ceiling.

Lovely property; nice, clean and stylish furnishings. comfortable and welcoming. Heating came on at certain times, which was great in this chilly October weather. Really handy for getting into Stratford, and great communication with the owners, they were friendly and answered any questions we had. Thank you!

location ok. breakfast not provided
Although the cottage was nicely presented. There was a myriad of old dusty spiders webs in the kitchen and dining room
with spider droppings below.
I made an error when booking, I overlooked that there are no downstairs facilities. i.e. wc and bathroom
The stairs are very narrow and steep, which the landlord warned me of but I misunderstood about facilities and
therefore, anyone disabled or with leg problems like ourselves, will struggle to manage the stairs.
9.0 / 10.0
It was bright, clean and comfortable and very conveniently close to the main town
Only suggestion I would make is maybe a welcome folder with details of how heating works etc etc, think that gives more of a personal touch

This was a comfortable place to stay, within walking distance of the town. We enjoyed being able to stroll across the bridge into town. Information given by the hosts was great. We appreciated the instructions given and the recommendations of local places to eat (even though there was a kitchen available to us).

Very clean
Great location short walk into town
8.0 / 10.0
Location an easy 10 minute walk for an old bud like me - busy roads avoidable by an old tramway path.
Host most patient and helpful with my lack of IT skills, house bright, warm and very clean, well equipped kitchen and beds and bedding in good order and comfortable. Garden at back very secure for dogs and children. Parking space extremely useful.
Stairs steep and narrow, having to come downstairs for a toilet, front room window needs repair so allows road noise and draughts.
