Responsive and supportive host, excellent location and lovely furnishing

The flat is very cute and well located with lovely furnishings. Harry was really responsive about an electrical issue and sorted an emergency visit the following day despite it being a bank holiday, which was hugely appreciated.

It was quite hard to heat, especially the kitchen.

Fantastic Host with a great property

Upon booking River's Edge, our host, Harry was very quick to get in touch with us. Communication was 10/10 very clear instructions on how to gain entry to the property. The property is a stone throw away from town centre, that being said there is no noise from the traffic or town itself. There was free enclosed parking to the rear of the property with keypad entries. I asked Harry is he was able to do any extra bits to the property as it was my partners birthday. He had a birthday bunting put up and some ciders (my request) in a welcome basket in the kitchen for us. Very lovely apartment which was in town centre. If we came back to Stratford we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us.

The alley on the side of the property isn't lit during the night and the front near the steps also isn't lit.

Excellent area to stay.

The location is excellent. You can walk to all of the tourist landmarks, and there is parking at the property which was great. Just park and walk everywhere. The property is heated by electric radiators so was cosy during our stay.

We had an issue with toilet seat which needs to be fixed. No other problems.

Perfect spot to stay to explore Stratford.

Location was amazing. Property was easy to find and directions and instructions given by the owner were excellent. Clean, well maintained and perfect for our stay in Stratford. We would not hesitate to book and stay here again. Parking spot was a brilliant perk as well.

Great Location, safe carpark, a comfy stay

Secure parking inside a gate was great! Door directly got into car park was a bonus. Wonderful location! Everything was very satisfactory and well worth the money. Mattress in main bedroom was very comfortable (next to toilet). The one in the other room was just a bit too soft. Shower and toilet were really good.

2 things that need attention, the radiator behind the sofa didn't work and we found crumps next to the sofa when we arrived.

Lovely flat in Stratford.

Very central location but also nice and quiet. Spacious property and excellent value for money. In particular, the parking was a great bonus. Excellent hosting, with very detailed and helpful instructions for how to get to and make the most of the property. Would definitely book again next time we are in Stratford.

Amazing place to stay! Highly recommend

Everything! Was a lovely place.

No high chair, highly recommend getting one as you have a good travel cot but feeding an 11 month old breakfast with no highchair was tricky in a new and different place. Luckily we managed as we weren’t there long but may help keep furniture and rug cleaner if you provided a high chair. Thanks

It’s close proximity to the centre just opposite Shakespeares birthplace. It has everything that you need.

A cool and peaceful stay in the middle of a sunny and bustling town, with easy access to theatres.

Excellent location, central but quiet. It was also amazingly cool in the apartment which was very welcome in the very hot spell of weather. The windows are fairly small and shaded by trees at the front which kept the sun off. There were some nice pieces of interesting older furniture which I liked

Excellent flat, location and value 👍🏼

River's Edge was clean, comfortable and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Shakespeare's birthplace, plus shops and restaurants etc. RSC theatre also walking distance. The owner, Harry gave us precise instructions on how to get there, plus was excellent at communicating any messages to us. I would definitely recommend this lovely ground floor flat. Plus parking was very convenient and secure. One of the bedrooms had a firmer mattress which I preferred 😊

This is a very small niggle. The weather was mild to hot when we visited, but the flat was quite cold. Thankfully heating is available and we did make use of it - kept the bedroom radiator on, so the room was warm when we'd get back in the evening. Like I say, only a small gripe.

Great apartment, well located, restaurants and sightseeing places are within walking distance. The parking is not easy to find, be sure to read the instructions before arriving. Hand towel in the bathroom would be great though.

Period flat with all the amenities, lovely spacious comfortable living area

Fabulous location, everything you needed, we even got some washing done! Great launching point for the Cotswolds and a very short walk to main street, shops, Shakespeares birthplace - cannot fault it and if we lived in UK would be visiting again.
