Couples stay

Beds and pillows are really comfy. The location was perfect, 5 min walk to the centre and shops/restaurants. About a 10 minute walk to Lidl and a big Tesco. Plenty of blankets and heating you can adjust. Great shower that doesn't take too long to heat up.

Took us a while to figure out the induction hob so maybe some instructions on how to turn it on and off.

Quiet, cosy, clean and central.

Central location, exceptionally clean and modern kitchen and bathroom. Cosy and warm. Comfortable beds. Nice crockery, glasses and cutlery. Good and quick communication with letting company. Easy to control the heating.

An outside light would be good. It was dark when we arrived and a bit difficult reading the lock combination.

A very good place to stay.

The location is excellent for easy access to local groceries, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The area is quiet, which we very much appreciated. The property itself is small (cosy), but very good value for the money.

Well situated and 'cosy' as described

The location was good especially with the parking space. The house itself is cosy as described. The kitchen and bathroom are both fairly new and well equipped.

Sadly, as mentioned in previous reviews, there is a strong smell of drains, especially in the kitchen. The 'solution' to this seems to be multiple air fresheners around the house which were in their own way overwhelming. The other concern was the lower windows and back door were locked and without keys which could be an issue in the event of an emergency.

Little cosy townhouse

The location was great. We were able to leave the car and walk to shops and tourist destinations. The townhouse was clean, and having off-street parking was an advantage. However, a smaller car would find it easier to get in and out. Instructions getting in and cleaning were helpful.

I was disappointed as there was very little in the way of coffee ,tea, or milk etc. There was no body wash in the shower upstairs. All these things have been available in other townhouses we have stayed in.

The location to town centre was brilliant parking was good outside house

Stains in toilet bowl some dirty towels no!!! repeat no!!! back door key so no exit via backdoor felt a little unsafe if they was a fire in living room

Not worth the money

Smelt very damp despite keeping windows open to air it. Superficially cleaned but dusty, cobwebs everywhere, looked like it hadn’t had a good clean in months. Poo smears in the toilet on arrival. Given misinformation about parking on the street. No blind over the skylight in one of the bedrooms so very bright in the early morning.

Location is amazing. So close to the town and Shakespeare’s birthplace. Free parking is great - if a little bit of a squeeze getting car in.

Would be useful to have a fridge with an icebox for those guests wanting to cook in the property.

Great to find some initial tea/coffee etc plus optional washing up liquid etc. maybe a small amount of cooking oil for breakfast would have been nice as it was a short stay. Bedrooms warmly decorated with towel swans which were really appreciated - but no face cloth and minimal toiletries. Very cosy and perfect for a short break.

The cosy townhouse perfectly fitted our requirements for an extended weekend stay in Stratford. It was clean, cosy, and convenient. Perfect in every way. The beds: comfortable, the shower: powerful, the kitchen: well equipped, the house: clean, the location: perfect walking distance to the main town area, the parking: convenient, the communication: efficient. All together an exceptional stay.

We couldn't operate the TV, but who needs a TV when you're visiting Stratford, with so much on your doorstep!

Mostly good apart from the smell.

The property was as expected and furnished adequately. Unfortunately there was a terrible smell from the drains when we entered the property. Fortunately it didn’t reach the upstairs but wasn’t pleasant in the lounge.

Fabulous cottage and great location.

The house was clean and cosy. Location was brilliant. It was very close to Shakespeare’s birthplace and easy to access the town, theatres and museums, so there was no need to use the car.

A few small things that could have improved the stay would be to have a hanging rail in the large cupboard, as there was nowhere to hang clothes. An iron and ironing board would have been useful, clothes get creased in suitcases. Also, some milk in the fridge would have been nice so we could have a cup of tea on arrival.

Sehr schönes Haus, perfekt in Stratford gelegen. Der eigene Parkplatz vor der Tür ist riesengroßes Plus, auch wenn das Parken etwas rangieren erfordert. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber.
