I only read the reviews here after making the booking so was a bit apprehensive about how clean it would be. Overall, not as bad as some have found it but I don't know how hard it is to put a clean sheet on the bed. Thankfully we found the linen cupboard which had nice cotton fresh sheets so we removed the polyester one with hairs and marks.
