Cosy and close to the center of town

Location is always a plus at this property, the bedrooms directly overlooking the Shakespear birthplace gardens is a bonus. Theres no provision for parking with the property but the multi story is very close so it's no issue for us

Not much to say here... its a lovely property. The only comment would be that the bathroom door does not lock - which for families may be an issue

Great stay if you look for value for money.

Property is in a central location, right at the back of Shakespeare's birthplace. It has everything you need and almost everything you want from a holiday let. Very well equipped open plan kitchen and living room. 5g Wi-Fi throughout and a TV with a netflix app to sign yourself into. The house was clean and a bath tub is a great bonus if your home has just a shower room. Instant hot water in taps.

The small bedroom (with twin beds stacked with only a foot gap between them) would benefit from floating shelves above the beds. there is an odd wired shelf to which, a light fixture is tied up to, making it very difficult to use. There is a double power socket by the window but again, only a tiny wired shelf which does not allow for wireless chargers to be placed on. A lack of parking place - such as a residential permit (the road has residents only restriction) will put the cost of your stay up. (we paid £30 for parking at multi storey car park nearby) Apart from that - a great place to stay at.

Noisy and stuffy place. Great pictures, though

Sticky carpets and surfaces. Whole place was damp. A piece of furniture had just been repainted. Dreadful odour, and difficult to open windows as this is the noisiest Street of the town.

Lovely little house, very convenient for seeing Stratford on Avon!

Clean, comfortable and very convenient.

It is on a main road, the traffic starts around 7am and is not bad, but present. Perfectly quiet overnight.

Lovely house, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at The Shakespeare Townhouse. The house was very well presented with good facilities. The location was excellent. The owner was lovely. The only small downside was that the road outside was quite noisy at night but everything else was very good. We would stay again.

Be warned, take airfreshner!

Very central location, beds comfortable.

There was a really bad smell in the property which I let the landlord know about but although we were told he put bleach down the sink there was no improvement to the stench. I went out and bought airfreshner, we didnt eat there as the smell put us off so stayed out with the windows open for most of our stay. They had also painted the chest of drawers in the double bedroom prior to my arrival leaving a note to explain the wet paint but unfortunately it didnt dry for the 2 nights I was there and the smell of the paint wasn't very nice, the fan in the bedroom helped but couldn't leave the bedroom window open at night because of the traffic noise. They did apologise but obviously nothing could have been done, I suggested to them that in future to only decorate when the property would be empty for a longer period.

Fabulous property

Loved our stay , beautifully decorated very close to the city centre just across the road and through a passageway.

Struggled with the door a bit , but that could just be us . And you have to be careful coming out of the bathroom undresses as the landing window is visible to people.

Excellent for a long weekend exploring Stratford upon Avon.

Excellent location. Nearby long stay car park £22 for 72 hours. Books, local information and board games very welcome. Well equipped kitchen. Bathroom / shower excellent and very clean.

Road noise especially in hot weather when you want the windows open. As mentioned in other reviews, bad smell from kitchen sink. Spotlessly clean apart from dusty fans and dust and previous visitor’s dusty sock found under single bed when pulled out because something had dropped down the side. Small twin room has two beds VERY close together and no other furniture. It would be handy to have a couple of shelves near the mirror. 10am checkout is too early.

Good location but a bit small for three adults.

Nicely decorated and reasonably well equipped property in ideal location for exploring Stratford.

Bedrooms were small, in particular the twin had room for only 2 single beds, placed less that a foot apart, and no other furniture or equipment - probably ok for 2 children but not for adults. There was no teapot.

Gaining access rather took the shine off an otherwise good visit to Stratford.

SatNav did not easily locate property. No door number to easily identify property. Only requested security deposit day before (Sunday) booking date. No reply to 3 telephone calls and one email.

Great location, a bit small.

Location was amazing, spotlessly clean, good quality linen and towels, good quality toiletries and well fitted kitchen.

Very noisy road outside, bedrooms very small good for 2 but not sure if you would get 4 in there. Fiddly to gain access to the apartment.

The property is in a perfect central location. Nearby parking for £3.30 overnight charge. Nicely furnished throughout with everything that you need. Quality comfy beds and a good size bathroom. No issues gaining access either.

The kitchen sink really does smell. The air fresheners used to hide it are not enough. I’m sure this can be easily fixed as it improved after I put some drain cleaner down.

Cosy retreat in central location

Excellent location within easy reach of the town centre and river/park area. Beautifully furnished. Lovely cosy fleece blankets to curl up with on the sofas. Kitchen had everything you needed.

There was an unpleasant smell from the sink but this was slightly masked thanks to an aromatic reed diffuser. It would have been nice to have a wardrobe/hanging space. Information sent via automatic messages and in the folder left on the table needs updating and was a little confusing.

Great place, very close ot the city center and all the amenities in the city.

Kitchen can be cleaner and there are not enough kitchen utensils. Team communication was not very good as I kept asking for check-in instructions several times to know hot to get to the flat.
