A lovely aparment, great location and excellent facilities.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. The apartment was just a couple of mins walk from the Birthplace, it was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

Great location, and but lacking in a few key areas

Brilliant location, minutes away from main shopping streets & shakespeare's birthplace & the Christmas markets Car park space - eliminated all worry in very busy Stratford Everything labelled inside Thoughtful touch of milk in the fridge on arrival Excellent heating on a very cold December

No instructions on how to enter car park: a black pillar on the other side of the gates wasn't very obvious after dark in torrential rain! A one liner on the check in instructions would have saved us both getting very wet ...& having to make an evening phone call to the host Very soft, "roll together" mattress Flat sheet on the bed was the wrong size, so wasn't tucked in, meaning it rucked up underneath you as soon as you moved: annoying. Bathroom extractor fan very noisy, loud enough to wake the dead! **Host reponse to honest feedback: after the above review was posted Judy the host sent a long moaning Whatsapp message to my mobile (ie not messaging via Booking.com) expressing her disappointment at my review. Judy failed to accept that sending an airbnb link with pre-arrival information to a customer who had booked via Booking.com was her mistake, (as it didn't work) although she did acknowledge her error at the time, telling us we didn't need the information anyway, when actually we really did. Sometimes Judy, you just need to accept your failings as a host in order to improve.

Too class

Everything was perfect. And the communication with our host was great. The little personal touches that were left for us were heartwarming. The shower was great, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the amenities in the kitchen were first rate, everything we needed was there, including a coffee machine! The apartment block itself, was really quiet, and a great location. We loved our time here and will come back again. If you need use of the sofa bed , say so before you arrive. I highly recommend the bards nest crucible apartment.

Central location with the bonus of parking

Excellent location 2 minutes walk from Stratford town. Parking space is a real bonus. Excellent shower. As a solo traveller you feel secure in the property. Excellent communication from the host with lots of useful photos and information to help you, great welcome info. Good powerful hair dryer in the property and a guest Netflix account.

The downside of being so central is the noise in the lounge from the traffic outside, as I was travelling alone I spent the evenings in the flat and had to turn the tv up to hear it over the traffic. The flat does have double glazing, so I’m not sure what else could be done but the bedroom at the back is nice and quiet. I would say the bedroom and bathroom could do with a re paint, the walls are quite badly marked in lots of places, this doesn’t affect your stay but it doesn’t give the best impression.

Location brilliant, the whole apartment exceptional

One of the lights not working on the entrance (first on the left) so couldn't see on night until nearly at the gate. Not being so up to date with digital things we did find it taxing to get in the property (even with good instructions) and to close the door took a few attempts. Then the radiator, we finally got it on but couldn't then turn it off. 😊

The property was secure, had everything provided that would be needed in a property and the location was really great. The host Judy had put small homely touches which really made it feel like home.

Very small personal things but the bed was not comfortable for 2 people. The place was not as clean as I would like with some cobwebs. However these are small dislikes as overall the place was very lovely

A modern, very clean and stylish apartment. It was well-equipped with everything needed for the stay. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels. The location couldn't be better, the free parking was a real bonus.

Nice stay in Stratford with an attentive host.

The apartment was nice, it was in a great location! We were just a 5 minute walk from everything we needed and the host was exceptional! The few issues we ran into she addressed right away. She was very helpful and apologetic and even gave us great tips of attractions to see.

A very comfortable stay

This is the perfect base to visit Shakespeare’s home town, just 2-3 mins walk to the Birthplace and town centre. The apartment looks modern, it was spotlessly clean and had everything for a wonderful stay. Both the bed and the sofa were very comfortable, free on-site parking was a real bonus. We had a lovely time.

Great location and wonderful host.

Location was great and Judy was wonderful with communication and ideas on things to do. There was also a bottle of Prosecco in the room to celebrate the new year. This was a lovely touch.

The bed was very soft and the towels and linen had a very strong fabric softener smell. There was also quite a bit of dust in the room which was only an issue as our family has allergies.

Excellent location. Well equipped. Very quiet. Host was easy to contact and very responsive. Nice touches such as milk and orange juice. Also a bottle of prosecco and glasses as it was my partner's birthday.

We had a great stay in a lovely town made all the more enjoyable by warm comfortable accommodation.

Great location, 2 minutes walking and you're in the middle of town. We had everything we needed plus a few items we weren't expecting, ie milk and orange juice left in the fridge for us. Extra pleased with all the instructions dotted around the place, made getting to grips with a new place very quick and easy. Very friendly and informative hostess in Judy and all in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended by us. Thank you.
