Unique 15th century cottage with its own warm feel, warmly decorated for Christmas too
It was perfect.

The location was excellent and the property was full of charm. It was a very comfortable stay.
A bit of TLC is required; the coffee machine was broken and some of the furniture looked a bit knackered. We also didn’t find the property in the cleanest condition.

Loved the property - including learning about the history of the place. Central to the city and lovely and tidy and clean.

Its gorgeous, its ancient, its got everything you need (Even with round the corner parking) its in the perfect place and its got charm pouring out of every corner, perfect for small families and couples!
The only downside is the the master bedroom is over next door's kitchen and the walls are like paper thin, when the hen do ladies came back with kebabs singing to Grease at 4am they may as well have been sat on my bed

The location was great. So close to everything. The courtyard was really lovely
(but couldn’t work out why 2 had 2 seating areas and we only had a table outside the door)
The building itself was so well maintained
Our bedroom being above no. 2 properties kitchen/ hallway. Didn’t matter during the day but when they were talking later at night it was like they were in the same room. They left and nobody was in there till our last night. They decided to cook some food at 10.45, not a crime I know but, when they turned on the extractor and it was incredibly load and all the cheesy fumes were coming into our bedroom. Only lasted 20 mins or so but the smell stayed ages😩
Still had a great time and it is an old building so accept it hard to convert to modern living. Wouldn’t stop me staying again 😁

Wonderful historic house converted into comfortable and very well equipped cottages. Excellent position close to the centre of Stratford.

Love this quaint cottage… the location was excellent for market, restaurants and town
The early checkout and there was little space allocated to our house. Fortunately no one was using next door so used the table and garden area that was allocated for that house instead

The location was great. Beds really comfortable and the house was warm.
Noise and cooking smells in main bedroom coming from next door.
Bathroom only had floorboards and
didn't have any flooring so not that hygienic.

The property had charm and character. The location was excellent with the town centre and all major attractions within easy walking distance.
The car park space was in a nearby NCP car park which was convenient enough but no advance warning was given about the height restriction of 1.9 m. We arrived in a VW Transporter that was 2 m high and were not allowed to park in the car park.

Excellent location and fantastic old building. Bed nice and comfortable. Parking very handy.
Bathroom is basic and need some TLC. No toilet paper provided.
Internet is poor.
Message with key instructions should include a warning about the gate, which is very heavy and sticking. We thought it was locked.

Great location. Lovely to have the opportunity to stay in such a historic building
Rooms were a little smaller than expected from the photos, but still fine for the 4 of us.

Steeped in character and beautifully restored to make an exceptional holiday cottage, without compromising it's history.
My mother is 89 years old and has been visiting Stratford since she was fifteen - I think with this delightful cottage, one of the oldest residences in Stratford, we still managed to make it a memorable visit!
Cottage number one was the only one of the four not to have a designated private garden which would have been nice to have. A small thing - but you did ask!

Loved the look and the location of the property.
Shower dripped, leaked and ran all night, both nights, so we all had really disrupted nights sleep and an unusable shower. An issue with the shower leaking through the ceiling had been reported many months previously and obviously hadn’t been repaired as the issue with shower meant we also experienced this so had a wet sofa for our second day. It seems there is lack of interest in resolving issues. Other reviews about lack of interest in solving issues with parking ticket also make me feel this way.

Very central, parking was easy.
Location was great and the parking was straightforward (although spaces are tight!).
The property felt a little worn and tired in places. We didn’t feel it was as clean as it could be - we found plates with remnants of food from previous guests, for example.
The cutlery drawer was also jammed and we couldn’t open it.
We felt the request to strip the beds on leaving was a little unreasonable - obviously something implemented during covid.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Stratford Upon Avon. Very well furnished with modern furniture, comfortable beds and a great shower.

The keys were in a key safe outside. Property was cold when we arrived but warmed up within 20 mins. Bathroom big enough as were the bedrooms. All of us agreed beds were very comfy.
The only thing that was difficult was using the season ticket in the NCP car park. We tried putting the card into the card slot to no avail. In the end we thought we had to press for a ticket. On leaving this was obviously the wrong thing to do as we had to buzz NCP customer service.Got out eventually !

The location was perfect, we could pop back to the house whenever we wanted whilst looking around Stratford and it was so lovely to be able to walk home in less than 10 minutes after a night at the theatre. The house was spotlessly clean and I liked the fact that there was tea/coffee/sugar/biscuits there when we arrived.
There was nothing that I didn't like. But I feel I should say something. I suppose if you were less mobile you might struggle a bit with the stairs, but then that would probably apply to the majority of houses with stairs.

Location very central. Historic cottage. Loved that there were so many choices for movies during our very rainy visit.

Best points: location is totally central - yards from High St. 1475 building was historic and fascinating. Beds pretty comfy. Small living room (as we expected) but it was comfortable even for us 4, and the sights are outside anyway. All bits and pieces you'd need. Parking arrangements good - drop off then parking 100 yards away in an NCP which worked well.
You do pay for the above - location and history cachet. Personally we found Stratford a bit tourist hyped but grotty (like so many of our English towns, including where we live) though it was the weekend, and left to explore the countryside and castles after the town sights. Took in a Royal Shakespeare Company play which was great and accessible. Curtains didn't keep out any light, so bring eye masks in summer.

Location was very good but we were forced to pay £35 for parking with NCP after we had been told that the car parking pass would allow us to park free of charge. NCP said the pass did not work as the owner had not paid the bill. The owner told Booking.com that he had paid the bill and so would not refund us.
We are therefore £35 out of pocket.
Beware if you book this property!
The car parking pass that did not work. The whole experience has been very stressful.

I would have liked a full-length mirror upstairs.

masons court is very cozy and homely. ideally situated in the centre of the beautiful town.
we did find the stairs a little tricky but that was only because of our mobility issues.

A very comfortable and cosy house . Fantastic location in middle of town but set off the main road so private and quiet . A short walk to shops and so many fantastic restaurants and pubs . Ten minutes walk to the train station and an excellent service to Birmingham . Parking facility is really excellent although we had a problem with the car park in day one - NCP fault - whole car park was shut on a Sunday . Otherwise this is an excellent facility and very nearby and safe .
This house has everything you would need plus and incredible historic charm factor . Would definitely stay here again .

Accommodation is centrally situated.
There is a free parking pass for the nearby NCP car park
Heating system worked so well that we had to turn the temperature down on the Stat every day, as 22C is too warm for us.
The Smart TV included Netflix and Amazon Prime, and the WiFi worked well throughout
Minor Point, and it may be a planning / conservation issue, but the Bathroom lacks ventilation, which has caused the paint to peel in some areas, and I am sure that this is a nuisance to the Host as well.
We just had to open the window each day when we used the Shower to allow some of the moisture to escape.

This perfectly located cottage is kitted out with the guest in mind. Everything you need within walking distance of everything you want to see.

Location was central but surprisingly quiet. Really tucked away.
Parking was great - but inaccessible for first 2 days as it was the Mop. The parking pull-in just by the property had an hour's free parking, more than adequate for un/loading (just not on 11th and 12th October!)
Sense of history, charm, warmth and cosiness, pretty sitting out spaces.
Fridge was really small and, once a 4 pinter of milk was in, it was virtually impossible to store a wine bottle. Not sure why it was such a shallow, from front to back, model.
There was a washing machine. In our opinion the space for this would have been better used for a dishwasher - surely of more use to most holiday makers? There was plenty of crockery and cutlery.
The kitchen bin was cheap and nasty in contrast to the high quality of everything else - beds, bedding, pots, pans, china, cooker, dining furniture - all really sturdy. But That Bin!! Wobbled and collapsed when you so much as approached it! Please replace!

A lovely cottage in the heart of Stratford. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a few days away. Within walking distance of some great restaurants and the local attractions. Why stay in a hotel or B&B with this as an option. Highly recommended.
