Nice house would use it again

All fine, very pleasant stay and the dog liked it too!

As the back bedroom door has a support rail on it it needs a stop behind it to prevent it swinging open further than 90 degrees. At the moment, when you lean on the rail it will swing away from you, knock stuff off the bedside table and possibly cause you to fall down the steep steps -potential injury

Great Location. All facilities provided. Overall nice and cosy

Cleanliness was poor. We have left this place much cleaner than when entered. We had to move the matts due to how unclean they looked and mopped/swept everywhere and cleaned the bathroom before existing there. Cushions and blankets smell of wet dog with excess hair on. I understand this is a dog friendly place however the standard of cleanliness was poor

A perfect location for enjoying the mountains around Keswick. Convenient for supermarkets, warm and comfortable.

It’s location. Very central but not on a main road. No need to use car. Quiet.

No sharp knives or scissors. Very wet doormat outside kitchen door meant wet footprints inside.

Perfect location

The cottage is perfectly placed. We parked up and didn't have to use our car for the whole stay. Everything is within walking distance. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable.

Location was great. We were able to park right outside which was an added bonus.

Beds were a bit small but often the case in a holiday let and shower was very small but did the job. Overall it was what we expected and would consider staying again.

Location and age of house

Cloudy pane of glass in the kitchen window because the seal has gone . It makes the window look dirty and completely spoils the view of the hills. Cheap utensils and appliances in the kitchen and broken toaster. Dodgy flush on the toilet which may be because the cistern is loose on the wall. Broken lamp switch in the living room. Generally, the facilities could do with checking.

Nice quiet break, just what we needed

Location was great, very convenient. It was just what we were looking for, a quiet cottage close to the centre.

Right in town just off the main road, so quiet at night, excellent places to eat.

The location is excellent, no need to use the car..!!

Unfortunately the toilet is a bit noisy! But that was all, everything else was perfect for us

We liked everything about it. The second bedroom has steps going down into it which are steep but this didn’t cause us any problems.
