The location of the lodge was perfect, the setting was peaceful with lovely views
Bedrooms adequate size with comfy beds. Kitchen well equipped. Lounge comfortable, lots of DVD's to watch (we didnt has no time !)and some games.
Rancid smell in kitchen on arrival, probably spilt milk as we noticed the fridge door shelf had broken and a screw was keeping it attached. We cleaned behind and underneath the fridge which looked like it had not been cleaned for some considerable time, however once milk has 'soaked' in, its extremely hard to get rid of, hence the horrible smell. We're sure this will disperse with thorough cleaning and time. There was no grill for the roasting pan to grill. Outside had not been cleaned, windows, deck, furniture etc.
Lights over sink in bathroom not working. It would not put us off booking again as these are negative points that could easily be corrected
Some of these points were highlighted in June on reviews so clearly not attended to before our visit.

Nice property, well located! Easy access to the Lakes
The lights over the sink in the bathrooms didn’t work so make getting ready I little difficult
The hot water tap didn’t run fast it just dribbled out
TV remote worked intermittently

The location was perfect as a base for the Lakes. The lodge was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was quiet and peaceful .

Not sure, initially, which side of the cabin to park. Outside steps wobbled
