Lovely house for comfy stay, with access to the lake, mountains, or the town

Homely and spacious, with two en-suites and a separate main bathroom for the three bedrooms. Fantastic location, with very easy parking, and access to the town and the lake. Fantastic living room and dining room.

Tiny tv, so not able to enjoy that. No toiletries provided (wasn’t communicated) and no basic amenities like coffee.

Fantastic property. Very close to town centre, which was a huge bonus with my elderly mother. Lots of room for the three of us. Very comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. Bed extremely comfortable. Parking a little bit tricky as it was quite busy but got a space out front most of the time. The one time we couldn't get parked my husband parked a road away, but within an hour someone left and he went and moved the car as the next day we were leaving and needed it outside for packing up. As the house is right on the pavement with no frontage you do hear loud people going past when in bed, but they don't hang around. This and the parking in no way detracts from the great points about the property. We would love to stay here again if it is available next time we are up here.

Hive heating system kept turning itself down and with an elderly parent this was a bit of a pain.

property was spacious and over 3 floors. very clean and in great condition. Location was perfect, my dad struggles to walk too far so the location was important to us. we could always get 2 parking spots outside on the road too

only thing I couldn’t suggest is a outside tap and hosepipe to freshen up the gravelled outside area at the back, as it’s a pet friendly home then it would eliminate odour build up

Incredible stay!

The house was beautiful inside and out. It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the whole family to relax. There were all of the little extras like a fan, extra blankets, and yummy snacks!

Perfect spot to explore Keswick for 5-6 people

Really clean, comfortable, nicely decorated house with plenty of space for 5-6 people in a perfect location to walk into Keswick. Two rooms were en suite and third is close to the main bathroom. So handy for walking into town. Lovely living and dining room to relax in with games and jigsaws which we enjoyed. Compact kitchen with everything we needed for a few nights stay, and a dishwasher which is perfect! A lovely welcome basket as we arrived too.

Honestly don't think there's anything negative to include. Would stay again.

Lovely place - would definitely recommend.

The house was immaculate, well appointed and in a great location to be quiet, but still only a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre. Parking was free and right outside the house. We would definitely recommend Stanegarth, and indeed stay here again.

Two things about the ensuite on the first floor - the extractor fan is very noisy, disturbing the next door room in the night/early morning. The set up of the shower made it very difficult to use - controls that can only be used from within the cubicle with the screen closed and a fixed shower head meant we had to withstand cold water at first, which in January was a bit too cold. I'm an open water swimmer, so I could stand it but my husband had to use our daughter's ensuite. A hose shower head and riser rail could easily fix this.

Great cozy place to enjoy Lake District

Great location and super comfortable. Very cozy and nice decor. We were 5 friends and it great space to spend a long weekend (or more). Definitely I would come back!

Beautiful house in good location. There is plenty of space for 6 adults.

Lovely house and everything we needed, we had family over from Europe & they thought it was wonderful too. Comfortable, clean and lovely decorated.

No blind on glass on main bathroom door facing staircase going up so my sister a little uncomfortable in the shower incase anyone could see her siloete.
