Stanegarth

The property was very clean and nicely decorated. I instantly felt relaxed. The beds were super cosy and the showers felt amazing with great water pressure. Spacious livingroom, I was able to set up a play mat for my son. There were great extras like childrens reading books, board games and playstation/TV room which was brilliant as we got rained in for a bit and it wasnt a problem to pass an afternoon. It was nice and quiet as sound didn't travel upstairs from the ground floor, so my baby slept well whilst still being able to enjoy the evening downstairs.

There was no foot rest for your feet when snuggling up on the sofas. The porch is a little bit of a tight squeeze with a wet pram.

The place was spotless, in a good location.

The idea of parking outside is rather apocryphal, Keswick is a first come first served place so it's park where you can, carrying bags from nearby streets doesn't help. The kitchen lacked storage space for a party of 4 adults, 2 children and a pup. Entertainment was good if you have your own Netflix, prime etc account and the games room is for adults or older children due to the games and films on offer. I realise it was Easter but £1200 for the week is rather pricey and paying this amount in full 9 months in advance is completely unacceptable.

Homely and spacious, with two en-suites and a separate main bathroom for the three bedrooms. Fantastic location, with very easy parking, and access to the town and the lake. Fantastic living room and dining room.

Tiny tv, so not able to enjoy that. No toiletries provided (wasn’t communicated) and no basic amenities like coffee.
