A great weekend in a fabulous location.

A pleasant house in a great location and a really comfortable home with pleasant sitting room and well equipped kitchen. We were a group of friends and loved having the comfy sofas to lounge around on, also two bathrooms came in handy. Pelham House was also excellent value compared with other places we've stayed in Keswick.

The kitchen was a bit cramped for 5 adults.

Location was perfect for walk into town. Street parking available for multiple vehicles. Nice to have a communal area (lounge) to chill & chat. Unlike a B&B.

Very comfortable living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine. All very clean and well presented.

Kitchen facilities were tight for a house sleeping 6. The fridge was too small if you wanted to stock up. The kitchen table would seat 6 but no-one could then move in the kitchen.

Central Location. Perfect bas location for walks/drinks around Keswick.

Central Location. Perfect for walks around Keswick and surrounding areas. Once parked up you don't have to move the car everything is within a 5/10 minute walk. Easy to find, easy to get in to and the house was perfect for what we needed.

Large house very well equipped. Lovely little touches. Very clean overall and comfortable beds. We liked the additional sinks in the bedrooms.

Standard 2 bedroom holiday let

Area, neibours, standard holiday let staff were friendly snet messages and phone call to make sure everything was OK

Bed was uncomfortable and the sofa was uncomfortable 3rd floor far to dangerous if had a family there lucky was just us 2 as couldn't walk up and down the stairs to dangerous not suitable for a family especially with children the toilet dsnt flush properly and it might just be me but I find it very cheeky to be asked to strip my own bedding and put it in bags when leaving you have cleaners that are paid for this not my job when on holiday of course we keep the place clean and tidy as you go but to be asked to strip bedding and hoover be fir leave I'm on holiday not my job

Excellent stay at this property and would visit again.

The location was perfect. 5 minute walk from town, yet far enough away not to worry about car parking. Local hills are all walkable from the door. Great range of services and facilities within the town.

Repairs needed to kitchen cupboard door (broken when we arrived) and steam from shower sometimes set off the smoke alarm - so nothing serious.

Shame there wasn’t room for a dishwasher. Front room smelt a little. Maybe dogs.

Awful, disappointing and very upsetting.

The whole experience was awful. House very dated/ unkempt/ grimy. The stairs are ridiculously steep with very narrow thresholds ( not stated in description!)As my wife on crutches, she could not go to bedroom as both bathrooms on a different floor, therefore spent 3 nights on the sofa- we didn’t stay for our 4th night. Bath was very stained, all carpets worn, decoration badly in need of updating.No help from the 3 agencies involved & the owner wasn’t interested in helping. Worst place I have ever stayed in.

Poor/ incorrect communication about arrival and departure and key collection on arrival/ what to do when leaving. Waited outside for 1/2 hour. Phone numbers went to a call centre with a long wait. No reply received after 1 week to our complaint. Stairs to top floor very steep (I fell down them once) and only window not working properly (would like to know if acceptable for fire safety/ exit).
