Good location
Good size for a group stay
Wi-Fi wasn’t great, it hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived but a call to the agent and they got someone there within 30 mins to get it sorted which was a great response

The location was brilliant for town and fells and the amazing local pubs
The property itself was warm and had everything we needed, plenty of bedrooms and shower/baths, it was easy to access and was dog friendly so Freddie the dog was glad he could join us.
Great place and would definitely stay there again!!!
My bedding was a little dirty with some stray hairs and muck marks!

The bath. nice bath. plenty of hot water. it’s quirky
the front bedroom. looked out on to the street. had to keep curtains closed. Needs frosted glass. The bed was comfortable but because of wood surround it was lethal on the legs. the bottom sheets did not fit and came off when you laid on them which was annoying
the back needs attention and I gate on. says it has a garden but it’s not really. weeds growing
it’s grubby in side. dust all over top of kitchen units which you can see from living room. dusty through out. coffee tables. inside cupboard. windows. fire grate.
no tea or coffee or longline milk left which was annoying as we got there late Friday. Also no hair dryer ! first time ever I did not take one as every single cottage I have been in has one bit this one ! no. so used dry shampoo all weekend
towels not left on bed in rooms so did not think there were any for first hour but then found them hanging on back of doors !
I booked through booking.com which were good but when I booked I realised I had the wrong dates. so went to cottages .con for help and it was a nightmare changing the dates. we finally got confirmation the night before we were due to go. booking.com were very good but cottages.com were slow. Also the price went up by 185.00 just because it was half term week. I would not mind but if we had not changed dates it would have been available anyway ! so to charge so much was a bit unfair
