Baystones

Absolutely perfect location for a great weeks walking in the northern Lakes, or just exploring Keswick and the local area. Inside the flat is light and airy with comfy furniture and a relatively well equipped kitchen. Beds are really comfortable and the showers are great - the first floor bathroom is huge! The location is perfect, you are less than five minutes walk from a lovely park and the town centre, with numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. Derwent water is ten minutes walk and if you are hikers, Skiddaw and Cat Bells are easily walkable, Blencathra is a longer walk, or a short bus/car ride. The host was really helpful but not intrusive and we had a fabulous week.

Perfect location right in the centre of Keswick! The property was clean, bright, and roomy and could easily accommodate up to 8 guests in comfort. We will definitely be looking to stay at Baystones again!

Some of the furniture was perhaps a little worn, but all was perfectly clean and comfortable.

Central location Spacious Well equipped

Access to the property was poor, access was blocked by cars, it was a dirty approach, overgrown bushes. The steps to the property were dirty, we had to sweep the steps and break back some overgrown bushes. On departure we had just reversed the car to the property steps to pack the car when a rude lady with children appeared she was abrupt, demanding we move the car now as she was going out . Her tone and manner was rude!

It was roomy, clean, well appointed and in a great spot.

One of the beds seemed to have a small problem with the bed head, other than that all good.
