Well-equipped property located very close to the town centre. CO-OP and Booth's (Waitrose ++) just round the corner. Lots of pubs and restaurants but book at weekends and every other shop is an outdoor shop for all your walking and climbing needs. Quiet at night but for the odd reveller returning home. Parking for one car on drive (but note that our Golf Estate only just fitted without being on footpath. Great fish & chip shop just across the road is both a blessing and a curse because their bins are put out very early and people park on the double-yellow lines outside the house while getting fish and chips. Note there is no welcome pack of any sort so if arriving late make sure you shop before arriving.
Parking on street is a nightmare, more than one car and you have to use the pay & display car parks. Whilst Wendover would be great for a walking party and there is a washing machine, there is no dryer! Good luck with the line outside in the wet week we had. It is getting tired, carpets had been vacuumed but are grubby with ground in dirt (take slippers). Really annoying to have to call emergency number on arrival to get heating/hot water fixed (but plumber there 30 mins after call!) only to find an easy fix was given in a property book that was hidden in the brochures in dining room. If only they had left it in plain sight. It was also annoying to have multiple notices to put bin out and find everyone else's emptied but not ours (fortunately I was able to catch a passing bin lorry on another day and a helpful crew solved the overflowing bin problem). Wasn't on the council's list to empty....

Lovely house, well equipt, good size, clean, nice comfy beds, nice bed linen, fantastic location.
No toilet brushes!

Some of the beds were not comfortable.
Shower drainage was slow.
Lack of serving dishes.
