A beautiful cosy stay

This accommodation is beautiful and very cosy. We did book very last minute to stay on Christmas Day as we were walking CatBells and were 3hours from home. It has luxury finishing touches, a real homely feel to it.

A shower would be a good addition. There is a fantastic free standing bath but the shower is over it We took our shoes off at the door as the carpets are plush but a shoe tray would be an idea. We tried to contact the company and the owners regarding parking but got no response from either. It was Christmas so we didnt push it .

Perfect location, beautiful layout of apartment, so quiet and relaxing.

Little touches needed, such as hangers for coats and tray for shoes, in doorway especially needed when weather wet. Kitchen a little welcome box of teabags etc would be nice. Bathroom, unfortunately the glass sliding doors need new runners and need adjusting as difficult to open and close, Also the the towel rail wasn’t working so bathroom felt cold, The freestanding taps are loose and felt unsecured.

Perfect

Right in the centre of Keswick with beautiful Mountain Views. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants just a stones throw away, along with popular hikes such as the Catbells Summit only down the road. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy, but cosy stay in the lakes

Wonderful Stay in the most perfect location

Everything was just lovely. It was very central. We parked in the Central Car Park which was very close .. probably 3 mins walk from the apartment. We had great communication with the hosts who gave clear directions and instructions.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It would have been convenient to have had some basic tea / coffee / milk but this has been mentioned in may previous reviews and not actioned. It wasn’t easy to find a convenience store close by for milk but there is one to the top of the street near Greggs if others need to find one.

Great location, very comfortable modern apartment right in the centre of town.

Catbells is on the top floor so people with mobility issues would struggle. The final flight of stairs were very steep and shallow.

Brilliant

Location was fantastic and there was a huge free standing bath that was amazing.

The toilet had two glass doors so lacking a bit of privacy as was located in the main bedroom. I also found the pillows very cheap and thin so would recommend to take your own.

Great location! Nice appartment but could use a few little improvements.

The location is undoubtedly excellent - right in the heart of Keswick, with pubs, shops and restaurants at your doorstep. The property is a decent size and the living area in particular accommodates 4 people well.

It’s a shame the owners haven’t taken previous feedback on board as many of the issues raised in the past remain. There is limited storage in the bedrooms and zero storage in the bathrooms - no hooks or shelves. Nowhere to put toiletries or hang towels. The heated towel rails didn’t work and the kettle was leaking and should be replaced. Most annoying is the bright green led lights in the bedrooms - these make sleeping near impossible. While these are all fairly minor things, when added together makes for a disappointing stay when considering the price. These things would also be pretty simple to address and would make for a much more pleasant experience.

Great luxury location

We love this apartment 😍; the location, the styling and design features, the beds are comfy, the kitchen has everything we need and is beautifully clean, the bathrooms are bright and clean, and a TV in each room is great.

PLEASE find some way to mask or change the green LED in the bedroom ceilings - it's a real disrupter to good sleep 🫤

A pleasant apartment in a great location.

We liked the central location. It was close to lots of places to eat. It easy to reach the start of lots of walks. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. It was pleasantly warm and quiet.

It would be good to have a place to hang wet coats and a place to put muddy boots. I would also prefer some good sized mugs.

Excellent location, easy access/check in. Lovely modern and spacious apartment. Host has excellent communication and was helpful! Would definitely visit again.

Only thing to note is our apartment didn’t have a shower, only a bathtub with a shower head which for us wasn’t a problem and we were made aware before the visit but this may be helpful for others to know aswell

Quality accommodation, central, very comfortable

It was very central but even if it wasn't Keswick is a tiny place so nothing is far. Howevr, this was literall 'town centre/high street' so really good. It was exceptionally well appointed and finished to a high standard. Every amenity you needed and everything to hand.

There was only x1 champagne flute could have done with two and you couldn't put a bottle in the fridge it had to go in sideways. If you can't do stairs don't book this. Upstairs were very noisy that's not the owners fault but we were in the Skiddaw apartment so there is noise from above if you don't want to hear anyone don't book this one.

The room & kitchen area was great and confortable! It is very central in Keswick. Check in / check out was very simple with code received by phone.

The appartement doesn’t have parking, and it is very expensive in Keswick (£12 per day) The kitchen didn’t have the bare necessities (salt, peper & oil)

A clean and comfortable apartment in the centre of Keswick

The apartment was very modern and clean. It is central and very easy access to all Keswick has to offer. There was plenty of hot water.

The apartment had carpet in the entrance and nowhere to hang wet coats or put muddy boots after a day out walking. Therefore was very conscious of getting carpet dirty. Maybe a few coat hooks and a tray to put boots in the entrance. The bathroom doors are really difficult to close, not ideal, especially when it’s part of the bedroom. The fridge goes on a cycle of no noise to a loud noise, not to sure why. The drain pipe outside the living room was broken which will need resolving. These did not spoil our stay, but unless you stay at the apartment you will not know.

5 night stay

Location was fantastic. Made days out much easier and access to shops and walks was amazing. After a night in keswick there was no stress of trying to get back to the room, no taxi or long walk you where back whenever you wanted to be. The apartment was very clean and incredible spacious. Kitchen was the perfect size for cooking. The bedroom and living room both had TVs which made for perfect quite nights in after a big walk. The bath was very big and luxurious, the beds where also very big and comfortable as a taller person I found i could fit on them without my feet dangling off the ends.

The bedroom had no blinds so the big sliding doors to the bathroom blasted you with the sun every morning. There was one window that could open in the whole apartment and it broke on day one so we couldn't open it, I attempted to contact staff for help but got no respones. I ended up fixing it at 1 in the morning because the room got so warm. The pan in the kitchen had massive amounts of peeling Teflon which can be harmful if eaten. So we avoided using that the whole trip, which did let down the whole idea of self accommodation. Had a ground floor apartment, the living room and kitchen where on street view, which had the down side of never being able to open the blinds otherwise people looked in, as there was apartment advertisement beside the windows meaning people stayed.
