Brilliant value

Location was perfect for us, we don't like to stay right in town, we prefer a short walk in. The apartment was bigger than I'd anticipated with a very comfy bed . A full sized oven was appreciated too, often you're only given a hob and microwave. Being right next to the old railway line was excellent for walks.

I'm wondering if, in the summer months, it can get a little noisy as there's a campsite right next door. Didn't mind for February though!

Nice and quiet location with ample space.

The fire was a cosy feature as it was cold weather. There was good space and good parking outside property.

The beds were uncomfortable, especially the double bed and we didn’t have great nights sleep. The mattress seemed cheap and definitely needs replacing.

Great location. 200m from access to K2T old railway line and just a 10 minute walk to Keswick town centre.

On the whole a little gem.

Very clean and well equipped for a small appartement. Good quality bed linen and towels. Copious amount of hot water.

The lounge was cold and could have done with some supplementary heating for the winter as the radiator was working overtime. A broken cable on the recliner sofa.

The property was very disappointing, from an incredible difficult door to unlock/lock. requiring brute force, to general cleanliness been very poor. Clearly the hoover is not great, black dog hair from previous guests visible on the carpets throughout the property. Poorly washed glasses, cutlery etc. no dishcloths etc provided, first job after searching for a hoover (didn't find) was to go to supermarket for cloths etc so we could wash glasses etc. Shower just about a dribble and either freezing cold or scalding hot water multiples times during using the shower, property very dated and just felt dirty.

Worst place ever !!!

Nothing really

We actually didn't stay once we had looked around the apartment it wasn't for us . Multiple things weren't upto standard . The mattress was very poor quality!! All the utensils ( very little) were very old and grubby. There was 3 armchairs with covers over them to make them look reasonable massive fail they looked awful. I could go on and on ! The photos do not reflect what you actually get. I complained and asked for a redund but that was a NO We ended up having to stay in the Inn on the square which cost an extra 550 pounds for the 3 days. Thankfully the hotel stored our food we had bought for our stay. Lesson learnt! Don't Not Stay Here ! Booking.com will not help you either. They said they couldn't do anything because the owner wasn't responding to their calls! Dreadful service! Unfortunately I can't upload all the pics I had taken to warn others and show you guys what it is like in real life not Photoshop world!!

Location was ok and the apartment was cosy, shower was nice , no skimping on the heating although I’d imagine that is to ensure the apartment doesn’t become damp

A little dated, fridge was small,lacking in cooking facilities ,no tea towels, front door very difficult to open and lock, and a tad unreasonable to ask the tenants to empty the bins at the end of the stay as I assume the apartments are cleaned in between stays.. no issue with separating the rubbish, concept is good but needs a bit of modernisation in my opinion

This was an excellent base for a wonderful week out walking in the Lake District!

Apartment was smart and cosy, good central location, quiet and peaceful with lovely little garden (even right by the main road!). Excellent base for the week.

A boot tray would have been useful in the hallway for muddy boots after being out on the fells. This would have helped to keep the hall carpet cleaner (I did hoover it before I left and boots not especially muddy this week, and always removed boots as soon as inside door, but if it had been raining more than this, then would have been more of an issue. One cereal bowl seemed to be missing (only 3 in cupboard), which wasn’t an issue for me as sole traveller, but could be if family visiting. Extra bin bags would have been useful and a toilet brush.

Bed was too small for 2 adult's and too much furniture in the bedroom. The tv didn't even have freeview and on rainy day more than just a couple of channels would be good along with some board games to while away the rainy days.

We had a good break and the stay was good value considering that Keswick can be expensive.

1_ Only one set of keys even by request. If 1 party left and locked the door, the other party was locked up and could not get out. Taxi driver had a hard time to find the building. No description where to locate the unit. We had to explore property with flashlight to find it since our train was late.

Excellent location and a short walk into centre. Just across the road is the lovely Fitz Park.Very handy for the bus to Keswick and Windermere. Lovely white fluffy towels and lovely white bedding.We will definitely stay again at this apartment.

I would stay again, I can forgive a lot for the location.

The location was fine for us.

It was advertised as having both a smart tv and a DVD player. There was no DVD player on arrival, but one was brought out and the smart tv removed. Unfortunately the DVD player that was brought out didn't work so we were just left with a crap tv. It was also advertised as having a washing machine, and although there is use of one (in a shed in the car park) this is for the use of all the apartments. It means putting washing on and going for a walk or into town is not an option. It means wasting holiday time sitting watching a washing machine. Two totally different things. It was also tired in places and could do with some updating, especially for the price. There is also no way this property could have passed an electrical certification with no RCD protection and a pendant light in the shower.

Lovely little apartment

Lovely little apartment, very comfortable and clean. Wifi excellent. Just a short walk to the centre of Keswick.

The only minor niggle was the shower room wasn't very warm. The heated towel rail threw out a little heat, but the wall mounted fan heater didn't seem to work. The bedroom and lounge were warm enough though.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was lovely, warm and cosy but spacious too, It had everything we could need and we will be staying there again. Great location too just a 10 minute walk into keswick (if you walk behind the spar you get on the old railway walk and avoid the main road) Also very dog friendly which is fabulous. The owner was really nice and answered messages quickly also let us park in the car park before check in time which was kind.

Pleasant

The apartment is a great location as it is just a short walk into Keswick and there was loads of room for parking. We liked it being a duplex with the bedroom upstairs to the lounge and kitchen. It was a really good size and cosy.

The house smelt quite damp and musty. The kitchen and decor was quite dated and could do with modernising. The shower screen wasn't very effective so the bathroom got soaked every time anyone had a shower! We also weren't told the exact name of the apartment which made key collection confusing for me and other guests when we arrived.

Stayed 3 times before so we knew location was great.

The flat was dusty and full of cobwebs .The kettle was a travel kettle and took an age to boil ,the microwave and toaster needed replacing.The cushions covers were dirty.The TV is outdated too.
