Great location only 10/15 minutes walk into Keswick and loads of walks around the town. Lovely to get back to a warm,clean, welcoming and comfortable holiday home. Please note however that the check in details were non existent!!!! We had to chase the key code details the day before our holiday from Cottages.com…..not good at all. This stopped us from giving this property 5 stars.

The property was excellent but we had no information from Vrbo on confirmation of payment, property access etc. We managed to get help from a third party who confirmed there was a common issue with encrypted emails from Vrbo not getting to customers.

The Rowans was a great base for exploring the lakes. The house was amazingly equipped, especially the kitchen, and the books, games and DVDs were a nice bonus to have. The garden is secure so was safe for our dog to use. We had problems with the shower, but the owner was lovely and got someone out to us really quickly. I’d absolutely recommend and we’d happily stay again!

We loved the property and it’s location. The property was perfect for the three of us and the walk into Keswick was less than 10mins. We have stayed in this area before and would without hesitation hire this property again. We inadvertently left a couple of books in the house and the owner was fantastic in getting them back to us. The house was lovely and warm with a fantastically clean kitchen and bathroom, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of comfy seating in the lounge. There was also a large parking space that easily accommodated our camper van.

The Rowans is a comfortable little bungalow in an ideal location in Keswick, suitable for couples or the smaller family group. The accommodation is very well appointed and equipped. Great location, lovely well equipped cottage near to Keswick. 10 mins to centre on foot. Keswick IMHO is best town in lakes. Loads of pu s, shops, restaurants many dog friendly. Loads of parks and open spaces. Great centre for walking. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
