Nice, clean lodge. Beds were comfy. Shower was nice and powerful and the hot water worked well (had read reviews that said otherwise about the hot water hence mentioning)
Air conditioning would have been nice (we lucked out on the weather - it was 27°C - 30°C each day)

Amazing location with great views and spacious property. Kitchen well equipped. Very quiet and safe location.
Blackout blinds were very useful.
Good outdoor space to eat breakfast /meals with garden table and chairs with gated access for children.
The hot water ran out on the second day and we had freezing cold showers and had to boil water to wash up. We couldn't ring anyone as it was a bank holiday. We couldn't find any information how to turn it back on.
No recycling bins
No Wifi, although we were able to access our data as signal was good.
We would have liked some information about local walks or a few books on walks etc ie recommendations on the best route to walk to Keswick through Crosthwaite road car park and along the river which we found later after navigating the road without a pavement!
