Breakfast was amazing - they just kept bringing high quality fresh food. The views spectacular and our room was large and comfortable

There were a lot of steps to our room Not all rooms are like this, so do not worry if its an issue I suggest you ask for a room with less steps. For us we felt we needed it after the amazing breakfasts

The property is in a great location just outside Haut Bay & easy to get into Cape Town. It was a beautiful location & very peaceful with beautiful kept grounds. Great views.

Beautiful setting and lovely location with fantastic hosts

Great location and amazing hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. The setting is beautiful with a lovely outlook over Hout Bay. The breakfasts were amazing.

The "Dreamhouse" lives up to it's name. Ivanka makes sure that every aspect of her Guesthouse is just perfect. It's pure excellent quality in accomodation, breakfast and service. We enjoyed every second of our stay and felt comfortaExcellentble and at home.

Great Location, Great Hosts! Recommendable!

The Dreamhouse Guest House has a great location in the hills of Hout-Bay and a magical view into the bay. During sunny days we could enjoy our breakfast on the Terrace that provides an extraordinary scenic view. Moreover the Breakfast itself was a big highlight. While it is served to the table with great variety and quality, each morning we got greatet personally by one of the hosts (Ivanka) who gave us a warm welcome and made us feel like home. The two hosts Ivanka and Luis are truly running their Guesthouse passionately with a huge ammount of Hospitality! If you are looking for a place to stay with a personal touch this is the place to go! All in All we had a phenomenal stay during the last days of our Trip to South-Africa.

Don't stay here at the end of the season ; no load shedding compensation; poor wifi.

Amazing views of the Bay and Table mountain; nice breakfasts ( although always the same - for 5 days)

There was no staff present except the lady who cleaned and made breakfast. No compensation for loadshedding meant no electricity or heating for several hours in the evening so we were cold, wrapped in rugs. Underfloor heating in bathroom turned on Day 4. There was a small fire in the corner of the pool house, we had to light ourselves ( damp wood so smoky ) with torches, in order to try to stay warm. Owners clearly had no interest in the last visits of the season ( despite being 3 people for 5 nights).

Large, comfortable and clean room with excellent location and excellent breakfast! Newly renovated and clean bathrooms. we really appreciated the extra touches made for our honeymoon including a room upgrade, petals and bubbly waiting in our room on arrival. thank you as well for accommodating our late arrival.

I spoke to the owner on the phone as I upgraded my room and it was not recorded as such, she said I got what I paid for. The whole guest house is empty (13rooms). She said she would check on her side and come back to me - no feedback received however did upgrade us into the room which I had paid for in the upgrade in any case. Just didn't appreciate the "you got what you paid for" without investigating further.

The Views from the breakfast deck were out of this world! AMAZING! Also wont hesitate to say the best continental breakfast that I have ever had in South Africa with so many options beautifully layed out. Lovely Staff members and helpful guidebook,

No back up power for loadshedding but did provide lights, the room we had did not have any view. Old Shower head needed replacing.

Beautiful views and wonderful hosts. delicious breakfasts. our room needs refurbishment. it was clean but there was a bad smell coming from the toilet. there were protruding nails on the walls (from the towel racks) my husband hurt his finger. wifi does not work during loadshedding (this information may be useful to someone). We recommend and thank you :)

We had a warm welcome with a drink on the house at the beautifull terrace with amazing views. The room was very clean and had all the comforts. There is a wonderfull garden with 2 pools and several lounge areas are hidden away between the small paths connecting the pool areas.

It truly is a dream!

From the check in, turn down service and check out... this truly is a dream property with exceptional service! The breakfast is to die for; with a fruit salad consisting of 5 or more super sweet and decadant varieties and luxurious cheeses with every possible options of breads. What more could a girl ask for? NOTHING!

My stay was too short! It broke my heart to leave this intoxicating view... and not to mention the extremely comfy bed which made it difficult to get up in the morning! Not a bad word or constructive criticism to say! Just be warned... you'll fall in love with this guesthouse.
