This w as an amazing experience. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The hotel and all the facilities were excellent. The views are spectacular. Thestaff were very efficient and super friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back

We spent two nights here., enjoying the views of the sea and the 12 Apostles from the grounds and the terraces. We were welcomed warmly and professionally by Sisipho and given a tour of the hotel prior to being shown to our room. From then on it was obvious that the staff team here are exceptional. In all areas - they pay extraordinary attention to detail in the execution of their respective roles, they all greet you in passing and seem to genuinely want you to be enjoying your stay. They will do anything to help. The restaurant team at breakfast lunch and dinner are excellent. They are warm and convivial but also professional and very good at ensuring you have everything you need. In fact that is what the the hotel wants for its guests in all respects., and the staff team ensure this happens. A special mention to staff we had contact with -Sindi, Linda and Roger in the restaurant. Sinethemba who was gracious and helpful. And Sisipho on reception who is excellent, showing warmth and genuine hospitality to residents and also welcoming and saying goodbye to those who have been in the hotel as day guests. The concierge team were extremely helpful.
The room was spacious, housekeeping excellent and some nice treats provided.
We did a great hike under the majestic 12 Apsotles themselves at the back of the hotel with views on all sides, staff explained where to start, provide a diagram of the route and checked we had water as we set off.
The hotel is of course on Victoria Road itself and there can be some traffic noise especially at certain times of the day… but you know that when you book.

While the hotel staff was trying to accommodate issues that occurred, my feeling is that for a luxury hotel I shouldn’t have experienced the issues.
Additionally expect long wait times in restaurants by the waitstaff.
