Generally ok but the lack of a pool was disappointing

Stayed in March the pool wasn't open and building work opposite was very noisy . Food was good. Location was also good . On a side street near to the beach. Shops and harbour. There was a little noise late at night.

Could have been great if room was not as warm and noisy

Booked 2 rooms, the air conditioning was not working in any of them and got told it was because they were still set for winter, had to keep window open and there was a lot of noise, also had cockroach in room not sure if this was because of keeping window open , the small pool was not clean, good selection at breakfast and great staff and dining room was really clean, hotel was in a great location, and if we had air conditioning which we paid for , it would have been a better experience and would have been able to sleep .

The room didn't have a dressing mirror to do make up or hair. Had to use plug socket in bathroom to use straigtners. Not ideal as was right by the bathroom sink.🙁

Good hotel let down by poor management administration

Location excellent, food very good, staff very good. Nice comfy beds.

I booked a junior suite and requested a room with a nice view on the top floor. We checked in and went to our room which was on the 3rd floor and had a view of the apartment across the road and a small balcony.. I went to reception and said I requested a nice view when I booked weeks ago and she said she knew that but none of the suites have a sea/nice view but she could move me to a superior room with a nice view on the 5th floor with a large balcony. (This room was €40 a night cheaper but I couldn't have a refund if I moved as it was too late) she said. I went to see the room. It was lovely with a large balcony and a sea view so I changed rooms. However it was annoying that I paid €40 more. If the hotel had told me about the junior suites when I booked I would have booked a superior room which was cheaper! Also I asked about a kettle and didn't receive a reply until hours after I had checked out. I am grateful to the receptionist for her help but the administration management needs to address these problems as otherwise the hotel is perfect.

Nice & clean hotel, helpful staff

Staff very helpful, rooms nice size and clean, great location near all the shops and beach.

For a 4* hotel I would of thought they would have supplied a kettle and iron in the rooms you can get them from reception but you can only have for a couple of hours after leaving a deposit, also the safe deposit box you have to leave 15 Euros deposit for the key but they only give you 5 Euros back. The money they make from the safe deposit key could go towards kettles for the rooms.
