Dreadful place. Rude and unhelpful staff

The only thing I liked was the exit as it gave me a route away from this dreadful place.

The hotel didn't seem to want to accommodate an English speaking UK tourist. When it was clear I couldn't speak Spanish they just didn't seem interested and tried avoid eye contact. I seen other guests coming in after me speaking in English and the receptionist was most unhelpful to them too. Some of them left without completing their booking.. Plenty of other hotels to try. I'll never return to this one.

The room was spacious and the beds were good. The breakfast however, was a disappointment. Cold bacon and sausages. May I suggest some oat meal or some fresh fruits in blenders? This should make everybody happy.

nice, friendly hotel and helpful staff - ideal location to explore old town

location is ideal, only a few minutes walk to all main attractions of new town, but plenty on doorstep in terms of nice eating places and bars/cafes. Room was clean but small, and could have benefited with a kettle, though nice coffee in hotel cafe. Breakfast room was nice, but I would have liked a wider selection of fruits (I like melon, pineapple), but overall nice choices. Staff very helpful in all areas aof hotel

Good value, I'm old town, not so welcoming

Easy check in and out Location to the beach was good. Breakfast nice, s0me choice.

It felt as a British solo traveller, I felt unwelcome. The majority of guests were Spanish and wouldn't make eye contact. Staff were a little better but cold on the whole. The receptionist was nice.

Really loved this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, lovely room with a balcony...big bathroom with a walk in shower...we stayed half board and we enjoyed the buffet food...we will be back.

Was an okay stay at best until after I left, then it turned sour. Do not recommend this hotel for Brits.

The general cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, I stayed in room 214 and there’s some dirty marks on the walls near the main light switch, the bathroom is showing visible signs of grime, but other than that the hotel was very clean and the air con throughout the building and inside the room was excellent. The location is perfectly situated in the old town also.

I checked in at 04.30am Sunday morning, should have been Saturday evening however I was delayed flying in from France and then delayed further at the airport by a few hours. Upon check in I paid the amount requested. The guy at the desk explained I would pay 99euros less than the original total as I missed the first day, evening, night because of my delay and it was on the hotel. Excellent start, I checked the next day and the amount taken was correct minus 99euros. It wasn’t until I arrived home the day after I checked my other bank and they had taken the 99euros. I contacted them on booking and the hotel said it was a misunderstanding and the hotel wouldn’t honor this, despite them telling me they spoke to the receptionist on duty and I was Misinformed by three member of staff. So they did admit to my surprise they said I wouldn’t pay this amount, but took it out my bank anyhow. I contacted booking and they wasn’t interested at all, they placed me on a long hold and came back and said they tried but the hotel wouldn’t honor my refund and if there was anything they could have done they would have, however, the hotel later messaged me again saying booking had contacted them and if booking wanted to issue the refund the hotel would accept there decision. I’ve used booking for years, I travel a lot, I use booking a lot, I’ve never had a problem, never needed to contact them, until now, and they simply don’t care. As for the hotel, I explained I never asked for a refund, I was happy to pay the amount upon check in, but when I’m told by the hotel they wouldn’t charge me as a goodwill gesture for my late arrival for them to then take it from my account without my consent is disgusting. I was also half board in the hotel, I tried breakfast the first 2 days but couldn’t face just bread in the morning anymore.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as we aren't early risers, but a few of the girls took advantage of the hotels cafeteria on the ground floor that offered take away coffee and croissants. They brought up to the room and enjoyed on the balcony

We should have asked for extra pillows. One pillow not enough in most of the groups opinion.
