Basic and friendly

The apartment was basic. Staff were very friendly and even offered an umbrella on one of the wetter days.

There were no shelves to put clothes such as shorts, underwear etc. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room, as unfortunately the weather was not the best and spent more time than usual in the apartment My initial room was next to a vacant room which had a fault on the air conditioning unit which set off every 5 minutes through the night. I was moved although could still hear the unit albeit quieter.

Lovely little place

The staff member who I saw during my stay (Pedro) was very friendly. After I checked in, I left for dinner, and asked at the reception about a hairdryer as there was not one in the room. Pedro said he had them, and I said I would ask upon my return as I was going for dinner. When I came back a couple of hours later, I didn't even have to ask - as soon as Pedro saw me, he gave me a brand new hairdryer to use in the room. The room was a little tired but clean, and comfortable for a couple of nights' stay. I liked having the small balcony, this was nice even on a January evening, and the area wasn't too busy or noisy. The hotel was close enough to the main part of the old town that it didn't take long to go between the two, but not so close that it was noisy or crowded.

The only thing that I think would improve the room would be bedside lamps - the overhead light was quite bright and lamps would have made it a little cosier when winding down in the evening.

Great location, warm, welcoming greeting from Pedro. Speedy check in and a clean bedroom and bathroom with a comfy bed, lots of power sockets, good wifi and a quite air-conditioning unit. Really good value for my money and would definitely stay again, thank you.

My only constructive feedback is that it would have been nice to have a little side light next to the bed or elsewhere in the room and maybe a little note recommending some local sites, nearest convenience store and a restaurant or two...

I'd happily stay there again.

A basic back street hotel. It was handy for shops and restaurants and there was a cafe next door that did a good breakfast. It was clean and hot water was always available.

Basic items like cups and tissues would have been a nice touch. The light in the bathroom flashed like a stroboscope for about ten seconds when first switched on and one of the light switches in the bedroom stopped working. I forgot to mention that when we checked out. Sorry.

Traditional Pension in good location - What is not to like?

My choice was based on cost and location of the Old Town, I wanted to be close to the beautiful beaches, but not in the centre of the Old Town. This location is perfect for a traveller wanting to feel part of the local community ( typical traditional cafes and shops are all on the door step). It's location is also about a 10 minute walk to the Tram station, which again for me was perfect as I intended ( and did ) make a number of day trips out, as far up the line as Denia, and down to Alicante. On my arrival I was given immediate access to the room. Lift and Wi-Fi both worked. Double glazed window was effective as was the aircon. TV, but only Spanish channels. Maid service was daily if required ( although they do encourage towels to be reused - which - I am in total agreeance with). Certain items are available to rent for a refundable 10 euro deposit ( kettle etc., which I was not made aware of on arrival. There is however a small notice in the lift which was in Spanish). Pedro spoke good enough English to communicate well..... It's in Spain - I should polish up on my Spanish! :-)

The location isn't the quietest, as it does have a side road running in front of it - this was mostly local traffic and they do love to sound their car horns and shout. Not a huge problem - it was more pleasant to hear than a load of party people late at night. Close the sliding door at night and have the aircon on.

cheap , cheerful and satisfaction guaranteed

I knew before i arrived there was no breakfast on offer which helps me with my weight loss regime .There is a fantastic cafeteria next door to the hotel which offers everything you need food wise. I visit Benidorm a lot and Pension Prado is central to all my requirements The hotel staff are great and rooms are cleaned diligently. Forgot to ask "what make" the mattresses are. Best sleep i have had for a while i shall return in the near future

Hard to think of any negatives for this little gem of a hotel I imagine it would be a bit of a honk up the hill for the elderly or infirm from Poniente Promenade but it does get easier i assure you .

The staff were very nice and very helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean Bring your own kettle etc A nice balcony to people watch but can be noisy with traffic passing. I would defiantly stay there again

Avoid the small local supermarkets they are over priced instead turn left out of the hotel up to the next junction turn left and there is a large supermarket 100 yds Its very cheap with a great selection.

Get what u pay for

Clean and today

No reception unfortunately i lost my key and could not gain access to my room until 7am the next morning as there is no reception and calling the number did not work. Lesson learned don’t loose a key and don’t book somewhere with no 24hr reception.

Property was spotless. Daily room service. No kettle ect but you can get one from reception for a deposit of 10 euro. Perfect location it is 10 euro in taxi to local attractions. Food in old town is amazing. Service and location of Pension pardo is excellent. Thank you very much for such a warm welcome.

Our stay at Pension Pardo was lovely very very good value for money. Staff were lovely. Rooms were perfect for our 3day Benidorm girls weekend. Location is much closer to the old town which is beautiful. Thank you
