Unfortunately, despite the comfortable room and good breakfast, I would not recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was standard but very tasty, with a wide selection of cheeses and excellent hot chocolate.

Unfortunately, I felt disappointed with how my reservation was handled. I had booked and fully paid for a room from February 13 to 15. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I informed the hotel in advance that I would arrive early in the morning on February 14 instead of February 13. When I arrived shortly after 10:00 AM on February 14, I was told that my room had been given to another guest, despite the fact that it had been paid for from February 13. As a result, I was asked to wait until at least 1:00 PM, and in the end I was only able to check in after 4:00 PM. I believe that if a room is fully paid for from a specific date, it should remain reserved for that guest, regardless of the arrival time. Not being able to access a prepaid room upon arrival was very disappointing and felt unfair.

Five Stars - A Wonderful Stay at Hotel Aqua By HappyCulture!

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel Aqua By HappyCulture in Brussels and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Our flight was delayed, so we didn’t arrive until around 2am. Thankfully, the reception is open 24/7 and we were warmly welcomed by Vincent at the front desk. He was incredibly kind and helpful, and even upgraded our room as a thoughtful gesture after our long, tiring travel day. Thank you, Vincent - your kindness truly made a difference and set the tone for our stay. The hotel is in a great location. We used the city’s electric scooters to get around (which we loved!), and it was only about an 8 minute ride to Grand Place. Super convenient! The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful extras - robes, slippers, tea, coffee, sweets, chocolates, shower gel, shampoo, and even toothbrushes. The shower was powerful and perfectly hot, and the windows had great shutters that blocked out light, making it easy to get a restful night’s sleep. We also appreciated how quiet it was at night. Downstairs in the foyer, there’s a free coffee machine along with jars of sweets – the foam bananas and Smurfs were our favourites! There’s also free filtered water and glass bottles you can take to your room, where you’ll find a mini fridge to keep them cool. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. On our final day, we had an evening flight and the hotel stored our luggage securely while we made the most of our last hours in the city. While we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel (we’re not big breakfast eaters), the breakfast area looked as lovely and clean as the rest of the hotel. In short, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Comfortable, welcoming, well-located, and full of little details that made our stay extra special. Highly recommend!

A great place overall! Convenient location, very close to the city center. Modern feel and nice facilities. Pleasant and helpful staff. A really nice bonus is loyalty to visitors in the form of allowing to check out at 12.30, if so needed. Recommended for sure!

Disappointing Follow-Up After Forgotten Items

There was a metro and a bus stop nearby.

I stayed at this hotel recently and used their luggage storage service after checkout. Later that day, I realized I had forgotten two museum posters in my room. I informed the front desk, and after some checking, I was told that housekeeping had taken the posters with them but had not logged them or left them at reception. As I had a flight that evening, the hotel offered to ship the posters to me. It’s now been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received them. When I followed up, I was told they had been sent, but no tracking number was provided, and I’ve had no further communication. Overall, I was disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Everything was awesome, a great hotel for the price.

A great 3 star hotel in the center of Brussels. Breakfast was the star of the show, everything was delicious and fresh (especially the bread and croissants). It is located just 1km from the Grand-Place and European Parliament. Metro station is just around the corner, as well as everything else you need for the duration of the trip. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable, with very nice electronic blinds. Staff is polite and speaks English very well. Only downsides were the minor leaking of the shower water into the rest of the bathroom and slight noise from the street below in the morning. Looking forward to the next visit! Great value for price.

My room had a very small window overlooking the internal terrace. No light and the sculpture in the terrace was in a deteriorating condition. The price for the stay was ok but for this specific room a bit high.

Fabulous stay with exceptional staff

The hotel staff were exceptional. Very friendly and so helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet, perfect for our trip. Lobby with the free coffee was a nice touch. Good location close to shopping and Palace.

For me this is a great location needing to be near several EU places. Is a very pleasant hotel and very reasonable rates.

I assume it is a staff problem but there is no-one to clear the tables at breakfast so nearly all the tables (at 08.30) had already been used.

Basic hotel with breakfast and amenities, about a 15 minute walk to the city center (Palace, Grand Place, etc.). The rooms are comfortable enough.

The street it’s located on is a bit sketchy and dirty. It’s not a major issue in the daytime, but be careful at night.

The wc in the bathroom is too small for adults. The emergency stairs, which we used because elevator was temporarily broken, is very dangerous, there is a step just out the door and we risked to fall down. There was no rug in the toilet for the shower.

1) room was not so clean 2) we rang the hotel one day before asking if we can bring our dog without additional price and the staff answered yes, but when we arrived with our dog they charged us 3) very old installations and small rooms, far different from the pictures 4) located in a strange street 5) gym small with a few equipments
