Nice, clean and in centrum! We loved the Hygge Hotel.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooms were a nice size and clean. Breakfast was delisious. It was easy to reach from the train station.

They had some maintenance work done on some rooms, and ours were one of them. We were not informed prior, and to our surpise the electrician needed to enter our room before checkout. We were in good communication with the Manager that solved it very well.

Staff charging to card without permission.

The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was very beautiful

We made a group booking with the pay at the property option. One of our friends arrived earlier, and the staff informed her that the triple room cost £204 instead of £304 as stated on booking.com. She insisted that it was £304. However, the staff told her it was £204. She then checked out later than the rest of us, and we were shocked when she was told there was an outstanding balance on the room which they then said that they have billed to the card on the booking. I had then received a charge of over £100 which I was not expecting. The staff should have informed her of the correct amount at check-in, and if there was any outstanding balance on the room, then they should have given her options on how to pay it. We arrived after midnight due to our flight being delayed, and the hotel charges my card for everyone's first night without warning. The staff also did not give us correct directions to our room upon checking in, so we had to go back and ask.

It is a pretty basic hotel, nothing special, the location is ok, it feels like they act a bit too pretentious for what they offer, but there wasn't any particular problem, it was clean.

Nice enough, but not up to standard for the price

Big room with a terrace

A poorly constructed shower that leaked into the bathroom floor. The bathroom and then room that just smelled of drains. The room was for three, but there were only two chairs on the terrace, and two teacups in the room. We had both a sheet and a towel with a hole in.

Unique, beautifully decorated, very clean. Great location for exploring the city. Lovely breakfast, convenient parking under ground and secure. Friendly staff. Would recommend and visit again.

It was particularly hot so air con in the room would have been great. A little more storage in the room and a comfortable chair would have been welcome but certainly not a deal breaker!

Great stay in a pretty space.

I liked the beauty and details put in the decor of the room. I also liked how comfy the beds were and the free water, candy and fruit were greatly appreciated. Easy to walk and felt safe at all times of the day.

On our final day, there was a whiff of funky odour coming in through the vents across the entire property. It was very foul but I imagine it was caused by the rain falling outside.

Air com was very noisy and disturbing throughout the night. Pillows were not comfortable. Specific instructions were give from a day of booking and none followed. Breakfast ( cold buffet) was very minimal and what they charge is not worth it.

One of the most relaxing, beautiful and perfect hotel experiences after 10 years of traveling back and forth to belgium.

The property is excellently renovated and designed. One of the nicest interiors and architectures I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Normally I only stay at 5 star luxury hotels, but I thought I’d go off the norm and book a familiar hotel (Scandinavian inspired and decorated). And it was as if being back home in Denmark. One of the nicest and most comfortable stays. Everything from the assistance from the staff, I’ve had a sports injury to my shoulder yet came with 3 heavy luggages. They understood immediately and helped me to the greatest effort. Everything is 10/10, and probably one of the most recommendable hotels in brussels, and especially if being near the city is a preference. Thank you for a super stay!

Good location, clean and cute but very small room.

I liked the overall hotel and structure, the staff were friendly and the room was ok altho super small and no where to hang clothes if you travel for work thats a bit of an issue.

The bathroom in the middle of the room without window and with a glass door not ideal. Also no wardrobe or hangers!

very stylish interior, but evident hotel basics (good matress and air conditioning) were lacking

very nice interior, pictures were very realistic, location excellent if you want to visit more "hip" areas like Ixelles.

- beds not very good - very loud house party across the street close to our room, thought it was a quiet street, not a commerical or entertainment area. - no air conditioning which was hard as it was a hot night. Opening the windows was not evident, because of the noise in the street.

Beautifully decorated hotel in a great location.

Lovely decoration in room and around hotel. Lots of places to sit in reception area. Water and fruit available in reception, coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Outside seating area on ground floor was a good addition to facilities, although we didn't have time to use it. Our room had a roomy balcony for our own use. Good location with a friendly cafe nearby and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

A few minor inconveniences:- light switch for bathroom would have been easier if on the other side of the door. Another chair in bedroom would have been welcome as there was plenty of space and both occupants could have sat on balcony at the same time.

Wonderful short stay

Located in a beautiful area and a quiet street, this modern hotel provides nice and relaxing accommodation. Staff was professional and helpful. The room had a comfortable size, it was clean and with a lot of natural light. We stayed for 2 full days and we really enjoyed this short stay in Brussels. This hotel is close to Louise metro station but downtown is just 30 minutes far by walk and the area is so beautiful that we never used public transportation.

The staff was very nice and professional. There is dedicated guest parking with reservations under the building. The center is within walking distance.

The room had a strange smell. Possibly from cleaning solutions and chemicals. The shower would leak on the floor due to a poor seal. Not a big deal. We just had to put towels on the floor to soak up the water.

We loved our stay at HYGGE hotel. We had a large, spacious room for three people, a lovely balcony to sit out on. We liked how the hotel was close to metro and bus (5 min walk approx.). The room was clean and comfortable. There was an a/c unit to keep the temperature comfortable.

The shower door was leaky, but the hotel staff were quick to come and fix the issue.

The hotel is about 15 min walk from Midi or Central Stations. We usually like to walk, but when it's raining, things get harder.
