Beautiful historic hotel, delicious breakfast

We absolutely love Château d’Ouchy, it was our fifth time there from what I can remember. Delicious breakfast, perfect location, great staff!

Service at the restaurant (dinner) was super slow (food was good, though!). We were given a small room, with a very tight circulation.

Chateau d’Ouchy was a beautiful property, and the location on Lake Geneva, near the Olympic headquarters and about 1 block away from the Lausanne metro, was exceptional. The hotel itself did a wonderful job of keeping the look and feel of a historic property while providing modern comforts. I highly recommend staying here.

Magical and fantasy-like stay in old medieval tower

Exceptional and magical setting, all the more in the special suites at the old medieval tower. We had the joy of staying in the Suite Chevalier and it was perhaps the most magical stay we ever had.

Excellent hotel by the lake

We liked absolutely everything! It was our 4 or 5th stay at the Chateau, and the experience only gets better with time. We got a junior suite at the old tower, and it was perfect for our little family. Super friendly staff, awesome location, excellent breakfast!

We loved it!

We loved our stay at the Chateau! The rooms were warm and thoughtfully decorated. The location on the lake was beautiful and the hotel is across the road from the Olympic metro station so it was super easy to travel all over Lausanne. It was nice to stay somewhere peaceful and gorgeous but easily accessible to everywhere. The breakfast restaurant is lovely with a gorgeous view of the lake. We would definitely stay again.

A very pleasant 3 day holiday in Lausanne.

Hotel overlooking the lake, breakfast was excellent. We had a suite in the tower with wonderful views. We had free travel tickets from the hotel which we used for the metro.

Not adequate lighting in the bathroom for making up , shaving.

Relaxed comfortable and just really enjoyable

Our first visit to Lausanne and we were blown away by the hotel and its location. The staff were super friendly without being over the top. We will definitely be back as it was a short stay. Highly recommend this hotel

An exceptional hotel, but there are things for improvement, including staff care.

Within the room, the bed mattress looked very old and was not comfortable. A shame for such high prestigious hotel. In the hotel outdoor cafeteria, specifically in the corridor lamps, when these were lighted up in the evening, many of them had spider nets, which became noticeable after the lamp lighting.

Lovely, luxurious room with lots of amenities

We were very tired from backpacking and the beautiful luxurious room, with bathtub and all the amenities, including complementary juice and beer, were so so nice! The bed and bath were super comfortable

I hadn’t realized how lively that part of town was. It was not a bother in the room, but I was expecting a more upscale environment for the upscale hotel.

Great hotel for a couples stay in Lausanne

Games tables and pieces in the hotel bar, pool table available for use. Room was clean, decently sized and well furnished. Staff were helpful and quickly resolved small issues. Very close to the metro station with lovely views.

Pillows deflated so ended up quite thin. Very few vegetarian options in hotel restaurant other than sides.

Excellent location, right by the metro station and the lake promenade. Breakfast was quite good as well. The staff was super polite. Mishap at the lobby restaurant was dealt with very professionally by the Restaurant Manager.

Communication regarding the requested room upgrade was vague. Room allocated (1st floor, facing street) was ok but definitely not worth the expense for this Hotel (which is otherwise superb). Had I known, I would have preferred another establishment.

Love the castle feel. Fantastic views. Balcony room was worth it. Great restaurant. Loved the seating lounge/bar outside by the water. Staff were very helpful if we needed anything.

The room was very small and there was constant noise coming from the AC radiator, at some points either a washing machine or some other machine beating sound was coming into the room that woke me up several times.

Wonderfully relaxing stay at Chateau d'Ouchy

Beautiful hotel located on the side of The Lake. Ouchy is easy to walk around with plenty of restaurants/bars. Great location for the ferries and Metro.

Brilliant stay. We'll repeat it with different weather.

The building is gorgeous and the location is unbeatable. Is not only a scenic spot, but it's also a handy starting point to visit the city uphill. The metro station is literally across the street. A big extra point goes for the staff: Not only were they helpful and ready to cover our needs, they were also genuinely kind and cheerful. We want to be back in the summer. PS: Ask for an omelette in the kitchen. They were superb.

Our first room (Close to the boudoir and SPA) didn't have good acoustic isolation, so we decided to move to a suite in the tower. This change solved the problem and came with a great view over the lake.

Had a very chill stay

-The room was very clean and modern with strong AC -Breakfast was good -We got upgraded at check-in and the room we got was very spacious -Staffs were helpful -I love the body wash and body lotion offered! High quality with nice scent

-We stayed in a lake view room on the 1F but the view was partially blocked by the trees. It was still nice but could be better if you stay on higher levels. -Not the hotel’s issue but the birds at the breakfast site were quite annoying -A bit pricey
