We would definitely stay there again if we return to the area!

The location was fantastic, the staff was great, and it was very comfortable.

They forgot to provide bedding for the sofa bed but, we were able to get it the next day. Other than that we had a wonderful stay. The staff was very responsive and the location was amazing! It was very easy to use public transportation and there were restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores close to the by.

Nice location but not the right place for its price.

Its locatoin

When we arrived ee had to waşt fır more than half an hour to enter the facility, because they had forgotten to send us the password for entry. Secondly, the shower gandle was too heavy and loose in its place and was falling while taking shower; once şt alnıst fell on my head. We reported it, they said they would fix it but it never happened!

The room was big, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The staffs are nice.

Only offer cleaning service once a week; the bathroom is small but acceptable; the staff didn’t send the check-in information to us, so we had to call them (they didn’t reply to messages in booking.com that often), so it would be better to have someone who can make a call

Great location for a base to explore Lausanne and surrounding areas

Great location.Close to Lausanne train station, metro, and the 1 bus. Metro takes you down to Lac Leman(geneva) and then a short walk to ferry port for the lake. Kitchenette had everything to make simple meals. Coop grocery is walkable. Nice multi language washer and dryer (2 each) in the laundry room. Cleaning staff was friendly and did a great job.

Our bed was a little worn and sagging on the side most used. Could be a little noisy at night. (Close to train station). Train station construction was loud at times during the day.

A real gem, amazing location, responsive staff, clean and new.

Base Lausanne is a real Gem. + Location is superb. * Good places to eat just down the street. One can see lines stretching to the streets for more than one place. * Park Milan with kids playground just a few minutes walk. * The main train station is also a few minutes walk, but no noise. Connection to the lake/old town. + Apartment and all the amenities look and feel new. + The staff is very responsive to questions/requests.

There are some communication issues - When we arrived we noticed that the entire building is surrounded by scaffolding. This is not a minor detail and should have been communicated clearly. - We were four adults and took two separate suites, planning to use a sofa bed. At around 21:00, we realized there is no sheet available. When we asked how to set up the Sofa bed, we were told this is done by the staff but should be communicated in advance. Moreover the following day they set up the bed in the wrong suite. Both issues could have been solved with a simple question when/where/if do you want a sofa bed (4 adults 2 kids do not fit in provided beds). - You are provided with a Lausanne city travel ticket. The email specified it will be sent automatically, but when I reached out the staff responded more information is needed. * As a side note, I would recommend taking the bigger apartment (if available) and avoiding the sofa bed. Unfortunately, they were sold out.

A lovely apartment with great facilities - we’d love to return!

The apartment is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and has great facilities. The location is very good; convenient for the station and metro and with restaurants and amenities close by. The arrangements for check in and assistance very easy, and communication prior to our stay was most helpful.

The kitchenette was well equipped with good quality crockery and cutlery. Good use of small space. Bed comfortable. Good location.

Self service check-in is not as personal yet was efficient. Building had scaffolding during our stay (we were advised 1 week in advance). A brighter light in the bathroom would be preferred.

Really enjoyed Lausanne and the surrounding areas. Base Lausanne is a very nice place to stay but I would steer clear of

very clean and accessible. We’re senior travelers and carrying luggage up stairs can be quite difficult. Very comfortable bed! Only 3 flat blocks to the metro. Easy check in and out. Also, big plus, free laundry facilities.

We were on the top floor and didn’t know there was no aircon. The windows open and that made a huge difference…except when it rained…and then our comfortable bed got soaked. Taking a shower in room 401 is only comfortable for small people. It was impossible to stand up straight and get clean.
