Handy for the station but fairly basic accommodation

Location was great. Right next to the station

The bathroom was open plan. Really wasn’t acceptable. Very basic room. Breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs were tasteless and sausages were very of putting grey shade.

The perfect place for a great escape in Lausanne.

Wonderful room, impeccable location, delicious breakfast, and last but not least, we had booked a table at the Jardin Thaï, which is simply outstanding.

We just got unlucky to have a family with kids running around in their room upstairs from us, but that is not something the hotel can control. It's just common sense that obviously not every parent is equipped with.

Brilliantly located; great amenities; fabulous service.

Spacious room with desk, lounge and good views, warm, comfortable beds and pillows. Good bathroom facilities - also very spacious. Great facilities in terms of 2 large and great restaurants (ate at both the Italian and the Thai restaurants- both fabulous); also great bar/coffee areas to catch - lots of lounge/chair areas etc. stay comes with free public transport cards. Easy walk to/from main train station and easy walking distance to landmarks etc. we walked comfortably to the Olympic Museum (we are walkers so best to check the distance).

Great location with minor glitches

Great location, very near to train and trams. We were offered local transport passes as part of the accomodation. Room was a good size and looked over the centre courtyard. Restaurants inside the hotel were good.

There were no consumable ammenities such as soap or shampoo. Not sure if this had been overlooked or was common practice for the hotel. The bathroom was very open to the main bedroom area, with only closable timber slats as the barrier.

Unusual layout .

Location to train station and metro. Free travel passes for days at the hotel. Room size is very good . Staff at front desk friendly .

Lack of staff for a busy hotel. Dark corridors in an unusual silo shaped building made it confusing to find the room at night. Suggest brighter lighting . Unattractive view from room. Multiple lifts to be found in the dark when move from levels 3 to upper floors, the lifts need cleaning . Breakfast staff were overwhelmed and food was limited possibly by lack of staff? Coffee machine unable to be maintained with lack of staff available.

Fun. Autumn Visit in Lausanne

Location was convenient to the city and rail system. Nice accommodation for 3 travelers in one room. Very nice staff holding our bags after check out

The best place to stay in Lausanne

The hotel is just steps away from the central train station, nearby there is also a M2 subway station and attached to hotel a very convenient parking place (around 40CHF for one day). Rooms are modern, clean and new. Breakfast is excellent and worth the price. We have been there with our dog and the staying was perfect. There are also two restaurant (Italian & Thai). At our arrival, at check in, We also received the free ticket for Lausanne public transportation.

Nothing to complain about. Check out is at 12:00, much later compare to other hotel.

Terrific hotel in a great location

Clean modern and spacious

One rude staff member who appeared to be running the bar and restaurant. He was rude to the staff and to the clients . The other staff that were on were fantastic. One bad apple spoilt an otherwise fantastic stay .

Not far from train/metro station. Big room with enough space.

1.Cold and Unresponsive Staff I traveled with children and elderly persons and emailed the hotel requesting early check-in—no response. When I arrived at 11:00 AM, my request was denied. At 4:00 PM, the room still wasn’t ready, with staff lingering inside and strong poop smell in the bathroom (international standard check-in is 3:00 PM!). Also, while breakfast was listed at 20 CHF, one of the receptionists tried charging me 22 CHF. Only after speaking to another employee was it corrected to 20 CHF. 2.Poor Hygiene Dust covered the floors and tables—we had to clean them ourselves. A used dental floss was left by the bed, and the coffee spoon had dried milk stains. Worse, at breakfast, I grabbed a plate only to find it dirty. The entire stack was unclean (dry but with food residue). When we alerted a staff member, she told us to "just wipe it with a napkin." Only after insisting did she realize the issue and discreetly moved the dirty plates away. 3.Unpleasant Bathroom Experience With no shower room, we had to shower in a scratched-up bathtub. No conditioner provided, and the quality of shampoo/body wash was worse than those in budget hotels. 4.Inconvenient Location The hotel is on a hill—dragging luggage up is exhausting. Not recommended for guests without a car. 5.Persistent Food Odors The Thai restaurant downstairs left the entire guest area smelling like Thai food. Avoid if sensitive to smells.

The hotel has a serious hygiene problem, which should be addressed immediately.

The hotel’s location was very central, making it ideal for exploring the city. Having a kitchenette in the room was also a big plus — a very convenient feature for those who prefer to prepare their own meals.

However, I encountered a mouse in the fitness room. When I reported the situation, the staff treated it as if it were a normal occurrence, which was quite disappointing. I can say they fell short in terms of crisis management and guest satisfaction.

Nice comfy bed but toileting facilities need a rethink!

There’s a half wall and Louvre blinds separating the bathroom and bedroom, despite looking attractive decoratively speaking, it offers no privacy whatsoever and a little gross in our opinion. The shower curtain in the bathroom really doesn’t say much about a hotel’s image beyond provincial old fashioned B&B - needs a renovation. Didn’t like the mini fridge, kettle and water jug being in the bathroom area rather than the bedroom.

Room preventive aircon maintenance needs vat improvement. Room not cool enough due to freon lack was just like a hot air blower. Reported it right away but no one came go fix it till we left!

Lovel, big, modern, spacious hotel in a great location.

Lovely, modern, spacious hotel in a great location for the station, Metro and restaurants. Staff were excellent, especially Jolivia and Christophe who helped our large group with charm and efficiency.

We had quite a small twin room at the outset, but we managed to change without any fuss. Bar service was good, but was possibly a little slow/relaxed for the size of our group.

Very reasonable.

Good location...extremely close to train station and metro...although, the incline to and from hotel, on cobbled stones was a little difficult with luggage. Breakfast was good.

Strange room design, no view...small step down on entering, you don't notice and surprises you every time...causing your back to be thrown out, if you don't remember. Not sure if all rooms have this. The hotel is under major construction...our room had a strong smell of paint, as well as hallways...luckily, we had a door that could open for fresh air, otherwise, they had no other rooms available for us.

Good sized rooms, great service, a full-sized bath. Had to rush for an early train and appreciated that I had the choice to just get a croissant and coffee at the breakfast bar.
