It was just perfect, spacious and comfortable all 8 of us loved it.

If I had to mention anything there was a funny smell in the small bathroom maybe a drain issue as it only appeared every now and again but it didn’t spoil our stay. Everything was immaculate and very clean

Perfectly situated bright and airy apartment

This is perfectly situated. We had everything we needed in the accommodation. The accommodation was clean, welcoming, easy to find & access. We would highly recommend to others.

The bedroom with the single beds was extremely hot and the sofas were uncomfortable.

Fabulous home from home apartment in heart of Royal Mile

Fabulous, bright, airy apartment with lots of space. Great kitchen with all equipment, tea and coffee provided and all equipment - felt like a proper lived in home from home. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. Bathrooms a real treat with jacuzzi and mega shower. Great relief not to have tons of nagging notices - felt very welcoming. Fab extra to be able to drop off and store luggage

Fantastic location for us. The accomodation had everything we needed. We were a group of adults and young people performing at the festival. We cooked in the apartment each evening, and the utensils etc were fine. Could have used extra tea towels! There was plenty of seats for us and space to chill after our very busy days. Being right on the Royal Mile is fantastic and close to everything. It does come with noise at night... but that is to be expected! Beds were very comfy. All clean and tidy. Very good communication beforehand and during our stay. Very easy access on arrival. All towels and bedding provided. A great stay!

Some WiFi issues at the beginning, but we sorted it. Need to add a potato masher to the utensils!

Clamshell apartment on the Royal Mile is an excellent apartment for families and up to 4 couples. Fantastic.

Location was excellent - on the Royal Mile. Apartment was as described. Well appointed and appliances all worked well. Washer/ Dryer worked well. Spacious kitchen/ dining/ lounge. No negative points for us. Excellent apartment. Stairs may be difficult for guests with mobility issues.

Overall fantastic property in an excellent location, with plenty of room for the 8 of us.

Location amazing ideal for the start of the Marathon (Purpose of the visit) and central Old Town.

It’s so hard to be critical but I have to mention the bath towels as they were very small.

Wish we could stay for longer!

Lovely, spacious, and centrally located! Perfect location. Walking distance with 2 kids from the train station. Kitchen and living room wonderful for a family! Loved the jacuzzi tub after our hike to Arthur’s Seat!

Amenities were lovely but unable to use sauna, coffee machine stopped working after 2 cups, and laundry machine was out of service for our stay. The owner did let us know about the laundry machine in advance.

Location superb, on the Royal Mile, close to attractions and a great view from the apartment. All beds comfy and very clean.

Only negative was street cleaning outside in the early hours - but if you want to be in the centre of a clean city it’s the only way it’s going to happen.

The location couldn't be better. Sitting on the Royal Mile, it is right in the cultural hub of Edinburgh. The apartment itself is bright, clean and spacious. It had absolutely everything you need and more (sauna and steam room!)

MICE INFESTATION!!!

Michelle was super helpful and nice. The location is good.

MICE INFESTATION!!! There is a nest of mice living in the apartment. We saw several mice and killed a couple. We let Tim know about the infestation and at first he seemed concerned and said he'd do something. Then, my messages were ignored. I even told him where we saw the mice come out of - the washing room, hallway, middle bedroom, and kitchen - and never got a message back. It was disgusting! There was also a dead mouse in the building hallway. As great at the place is, it is very hard to sleep with mice everywhere. We lost sleep and spent so much time chasing mice. I would NOT stay there again for free. Unless you like mice everywhere, i wouldnt go near there.

great location, lovely place and lovely staff. right in the middle of Edinburgh, on the royal mile. beautifully decorated, the most comfortable beds ever.

couldn’t figure out how to work the sauna and wasn’t instructions (that we could find) on how to use. wifi also didn’t work and didn’t get the greatest reception in the apartment. wish there were locks on the toilets too.

Excellent apartment for a large or extended family or group of friends.

Clamshell is in an excellent position on the Royal Mile, very convenient for bars, restaurants and experiencing the sights of the Old Town of Edinburgh. It is a clean, warm, well equipped apartment with comfortable beds. Michelle was there to greet us and was friendly, knowledge and helpful.

Perhaps there could have been some information on how to work the appliances to take away the guess work!

Fantastic stay at an amazing apartment

From entering the apartment we will so very impressed. Four very good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a huge lounge/kitchen. The whole place was spotless and had a homely feel. Michelle (staff) was amazing and accomodated our needs prior to our stay. The hot tub and sauna were a fantastic addition to the apartment and gave the whole stay at extra wow factor. Perfect location for a visit to Edinburgh. Very impressed and will 100% be staying again.

There was a draft coming through the windows and activating the heating in the rooms proved difficult. Resulting In it being very cold in the evening. There was a lot of noise from the chip shop underneath that was open until 2am. Prior warning would have been helpful then we knew we would need earplugs for a good night's sleep.

the location although a little noisey at night but not enough to bother anyone.

i didn't like the fact there was no windows in the living room , it felt very claustrophobic and we couldn't get the jacuzzi to work. There was no information booklet to show how to work showers or heating and we were boiling.

The appartment as a whole was lovely and the jacuzzi and sauna were a treat. Would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in the area you will not be dissapointed!

Had trouble working the heating system and there couldve been floor mats in the bathroom as the floors get slippy but apart from that everything was perfect.
