Sense Canggu Beach Hotel

We had a pleasant stay at Sense Canggu Hotel. It is a fairly basic, standard hotel, but it provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful throughout our visit, especially the team at the swim-up pool bar, who were always friendly and welcoming. The location was good, with the beach within walking distance and plenty of nearby amenities.

We chose to upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite; however, we found that the facilities and amenities were not noticeably different from those in the standard room, which was a little disappointing. On check-out, we were charged 225,000 IDR for a small can of Coca-Cola from the minibar. We felt this was an excessive amount and are not convinced it matched the price listed in the room. Unfortunately, as we paid by card, we did not notice the charge until after we had left. We would recommend that future guests carefully review their bill before checking out.

Facilities were excellent, having pool access straight off our deck was awesome, room was spacious and bed extra comfortable

Not really a lot of storage to put bags and luggage, no real seating inside room if you wanted to escape the heat

The room was lovely and spacious. The location is about 5 min walk to the beach and there are good food spots there.

The towels at the pool were not clean with lots of stains on them. The pool couch area was not like the pictures. The laundry service is super expensive, it cost us €10 and when we got it back it was still wet! It would be much better value to get your laundry done in a launderette in the street.
