Amazing rooms but overall average facilities and service

The rooms are incredible, large, comfortable and clean with a great view of the ocean (if you get the ocean view room). The staff are always very friendly and smiling when approached.

I was pretty disappointed in this property. The service was average, the facilities even more average. Breakfast was nice but nothing amazing compared to other places we have stayed in Bali. Ordered room service one afternoon and it took forever to get to us and when it did it was well and truely cold. We stayed two nights, one of those days room service was completely unavailable and the next night the ocean viewing/ dining area was closed for a wedding (which is absolutely fine but having more than 12 hours notice would have been appreciated).

A fantastic, luxury experience, but need to bring smoking rules up to 2025.

Excellent location on the beach, with a very comfortable duplex room and plenty of space for our family. The breakfasts and food quality was very high, and the staff were always friendly and accommodating (special mention to Dinah, who was fantastic with our children). The pool and facilities are clear and modern, and the local area is a slightly quieter (though still pretty chaotic) corner of Canggu.

The only major negative was the smoking - there appear few limits around the restaurant or common spaces and it was uncomfortable for our family. We had to leave the kids’ swimming pool on several occasions due to people smoking outside their rooms, as well as moving away from the restaurant when trying to eat. There should be a smoking area away from common areas. The hotel would be 10/10 without this, and it would put us off staying here again.

Lovely hotel on the beach

Had a lovely stay. Hotel is located right on the beach, with direct beach access, is quiet - don’t hear the traffic/motorbikes! Can walk to Finn’s. The sunset on the beach is gorgeous. Rooms are nicely appointed and big. Breakfast is good variety and very good. Upper bar terrace is lovely as the sunset goes down. Had a 2hr massage at the spa - heaven! The best part are the people working at the property. Each one is so kind, friendly and inviting. Special mention to Diah who was wonderful. Would absolutely stay again.

Our stay had been amazing and thanks to Swarga Suites!

We love everything in Swarga, the room, food, facilities and the staff. What we enjoyed the most during our stay was the food, specifically Indonesian food. The price is reasonable for the quality of food they offer. The room in person and in photos looked exactly the same. The facilities were great, the pool was massive, the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent, and the location of the hotel itself was a plus. It was facing the beach which offered a more relaxing experience. Overall, Swarga Suites had exceeded our expectations.

Actually there's nothing that we didn't like. During our stay, there was an ongoing construction beside the main building of the hotel. I believe every guest had been informed about the ongoing construction through the letter that we had found in our room. The letter had the details of the construction (like what was the construction for and the time of the day that they will be working on it). There is a minimal noise disturbance but not to a point that you will get annoyed by it.

Amazing holiday in Bali

Our stay at Swarga Suites was just perfect. Staff was always smiling, ready to help you with everything. Hotel is beautiful, I loved sun deck located just next to the beach, so peaceful and quiet! Rooms are super comfy and made in Balinese style, which is making the experience even more memorable. We had great time, couldn’t think of better place to stay in Canggu.

Beautiful hotel and location, fresh sea air, relaxing.

Room was a large and faced out onto the ocean - although the ocean facing rooms do not open directly onto the pool. Beautiful location, could watch people playing on the beach and flying kites.

The AC in the gym didn't work and there were no towels or cups for water. It was cooler to go for a run outside.

Perfect suite for a family of 4, with 2 floors and 2 big bathrooms. Breakfast was fantastic also the staff. Very comfortable beds.

Was a moderate place to stay, would I return?? No, but purely because of noise

Great staff, breakfast offering was great, room size and offering was really good, spa facilities were very good

Gym could be bigger and have more offerings, very limited equipment and no sanitizer spray to clean equipment after use. Noise levels from next door beach club kept us awake until midnight every night . The pool is very restrictive if you aren’t staying in one of the pool side rooms. Noise also coming from the next door construction site. Unfortunately not a very peaceful stay here with the combined noise of the beach club and the construction occurring next door to the property. This hotel has all the makings of being an incredible place to stay on holiday , I could only suggest maybe double glazing on the doors and windows to try to block out some of the noise coming from outside factors

All perfect! This is a fantastic hotel.

I really enjoyed everything! The room was much larger than I expected, at first, I honestly thought there had been a mistake with the accommodation, but that wasn’t the case. The hotel is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been more lovely.

I enjoyed everything overall! However, I would recommend the hotel consider including all charges (like taxes) in the listed prices, especially at the restaurant. Displaying the final price upfront would create a more transparent experience for guests. In any case, the pricing would still be quite reasonable.

Disappointed Not relaxing not 5* standards

The rooms were lovely, breakfast had lots of choice very fresh nice welcome each morning. Pool was very nice. Good access to the beach. Lovely yoga class

Building site drilling noise the entire 7days all day! No pre warning ahead of our stay as we would have not booked knowing this. This was meant to be relaxing - it was not! Then lizards in the bin most nights even when empty. Staff at reception were not helpful didn’t really understand questions asked. Fridge replenishments were inconsistent. Differences with staff knowledge. Towels were old and smelt unpleasant.

We had to move rooms, they gave us a basement / ground floor walkout room. The room was nice but too damp, sheets felt wet. They did relocate us to an amazing room 2 levels up and that was great - problem solved

Very poor selection of breakfast products (I have visited many top class hotels on different continents and this breakfast the best I can give is 3*), a lot of sweets and some fruit, other than that, that's all. Total lack of control over who orders what for breakfast (it happened to me twice that I ordered something and one time I didn't get it at all, the second time I got someone else order. While waiting for a taxi someone misplaced our luggage which was already ready to be packed into the taxi, it took few minutes to find them, so the taxi was waiting and we were sitting in it and waiting for them to find our luggage.🤦🏻‍♂️Unfortunately, no one controls what is happening at the pool. It happened that in the evening we were using the pool and the sun loungers under which and around which there was a lot of food waste.

Worth every dollar!

Love their service. I give them an A++++ for their customer service. From the moment we stepped in until we checked out, there was a smile on every hotel representative,. And the hotel is so serene with such beautiful plants and has a calming sense. And my husband and I are vegetarians. They were just so courteous to give us a vegan and vegetarian menu for breakfast on top of the food that they had already prepared at the buffet. And I also requested a small celebration for my husband's birthday, and they arranged a beautiful surprise. A big thank you Swarga❤️❤️

Most of it was good. I have no complaints. All staff were very accommodating and helpful. We had to walk a bit to find a good spot to swim on the beach. But overall loved it.❤️ The outdoor bar area could have a bit of lighting as it was dark when we dined in there. But they were quick to bring in more candles.

Fantastic place to stay

I read all the reviews and anyone who complained about this place is just being a whinger. For the price, you couldn’t get a better resort. It was a quiet place, nice for relaxing. The staff were fantastic, location was great, sunsets were amazing and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was decent (and I’m fussy). Finns beach club is a 4min walk down the beach. I downloaded the grab app and a scooter was at the hotel in 2mins to take me anywhere for $1-$2. Next door is a fantastic wellness gym. If I was gonna be nit picky, my air con leaked a couple of times But it was fixed straight away so I rate this resort very highly.

Very nice hotel

A very nice hotel that we would recommend. We chose a spacious 120m2 room that had a large balcony with a sea view. The staff was always very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was also very good. However, the hotel could benefit from upgrading their amenities, including the towels, both in the rooms and at the pool. The gym was extremely limited, and the a la carte food was at times disappointing.

Very nice hotel, however the price we paid is a bit too high

Room had direct access to the swimming pool and is very spacious. Close to the Canguu shopping strip. In-house spa, the masseuses are great.

Rooms a bit run down, you can see that they have been refurbished however you can still notice the old furnishings and floors. Overall clean, however more attention is needed in certain parts of the room (ex: bathroom glass window).
