The whole neighbourhood is being actively developed. There‘s a lot of construction noise. But that will be the case in most places in Pererenan.

Well located within walking distance to good restaurants, yoga and the beach.

Unfortunately there was significant major construction within 1 metre of our room. While we understand this was not in the owners control, we should have been advised. The noise was relentless.

Beautiful hotel on a quiet street. Walking distance from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Natural furniture with exceptional staff who cater to your every need. Will definitely be back!

Location is great with many places walkable. Breakfast was amazing! So much choice. Rooms were nice with a comfy bed. Friendly service.

Unfortunately, we weren’t informed about the building work next door beforehand. It wasn’t a major issue as we still slept well & there is building work everywhere in Canggu, but we still would have appreciated a notification. In the bathroom, there are decorative holes in the wall & i was therefore paranoid that neighbouring properties/ work men could see me. I would recommend bringing your own travel mirror & ring light if you want to get ready after sunset. We also found the wifi not great & used our e-sim instead.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to the beach (literally 5 min walk), close to town with great shops and even better restaurants. The breakfast in the hotel was delicious, and the staff were so nice and accommodating. We can highly recommend Amar boutique hotel.

The hotel is amazing! It’s a charming family run hotel with 10 rooms, a beautiful pool and excellent decorations and relaxing spots. We stayed in a family apartment. Filipa, her husband and the team ( specially Tiá) were extremely helpful, kind and made everything perfect! The location is also great. Will highly recommend!

There are some constructions in the surrounding. Nothing that the hotel could change, but just that you are aware.

The location in Canggu is about perfect, walkable to everything. The property is an hidden oasis. It’s so well maintained and beautifully decorated, I felt immediately at ease. The staff were absolutely kind and welcoming and the owners know how to host travelers looking for a place to chill. The rooms have great detail, good A/C and comfortable beds, must have breakfast and fresh baked goodies every morning! Every detail is dialed in, and they can provide everything you need at a great price point.

The beautiful and serene setting of the garden and the pool, an true oasis of tranquility it is, as well as the kindness of the the hosts and their staff, all very nice, kind and service minded people that will go over and beyond for you to make you feel at home and comfortable. A very recommendable place to stay.!

The ongoing construction works around the premises as there are other/new facilities being build in the neighborhood, but OK, that is mainly during the day only so it is bearable.

A lovely quite retreat:)

It was a hidden gem, lush gardens, very attractive property, attentive staff, Filipa supplied very helpful info for getting around, places to eat etc. Breakfast was delicious! Location was good, walk to beach & restaurants. The property has its own water filtration which is an absolute plus. We had an early flight & Filipa arranged a delicious takeaway breakfast of freshly prepared fruits, croissants and her delicious chocolate cake ☺️

We would have loved a small fridge & also tea/coffee making facility in the room would have been nice. It is a place where you need to be quiet & mindful of others.

A real gem

Everything: the hotel is gorgeous, clean and quite. A true little oasis. But what makes this hotel special is the staff! Filippa the owner and all her staff are the kindest and the most helpful people and made my stay very relaxing. Breakfast is delicious. Hotel is close to the beach, and is surrounded with good restaurants and cafes. They also have their own filtered water so you can brush your teeth with the tap water.

I loved everything. The only bothersome thing is that there is a construction on a property next to, so I was awaken 2 days in a row very early (before 7am) to the sounds of very loud hammering.

This is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff are incredibly welcoming and nothing was too difficult. The room is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The location is perfect. This place feels like a home away from home and a lot of that has to do with Filipa being the epitome of a good host. We could not recommend this hotel more and we look forward to our next visit.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staffs!

I love the decor of this boutique hotel. The surrounding is quiet yet you can still enjoy lots of restaurants options by walking distance about 10-20mins. They only have 10 rooms so the pool side is always quiet and chill which is different from those hotels with lots of guests. We didn’t have Grab app in our first night but the staff was extrey helpful to get us rides. Room was clean and cozy. Very Bali style!

Exceptional

Bali, and specifically Canggu, can be hectic at the best of times, but stepping through the wooden doors of Amar you were immediately in a place of tranquility and comfort. Filipa was a wonderful host that made sure we were as well informed as we could be (as first time visitors to Bali) and gave us so many great tips and advice to make our stay enjoyable. Location couldn't be better just two minutes walk to Echo Beach which has so many places to chill, eat and drink, or try a bit of surfing.

Nothing I didn't like about the hotel, enjoyed the breakfast, staff, hosts, location and design.

Perfect stay in Canggu

Perfect hotel to feel like home. Simple, cosy and with everything you need. The location is the best in canggu, if you want you can go walking to the beach and best restaurants. The breakfast is amazing. The owners will take care of you and give you useful information. I also have to mention the outdoor shower.
