This is a beautiful hotel, located in the heart of Pererenan, and you feel slightly removed from the bustle as soon as you are inside. It has been a round a while but they managed to maintain it very well. The rice fields add a lovely charm and the pool area is quiet but with company. Loved it! Great value for what I paid as well. Recommend 100%.

The location is great if you want to be able to walk to the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK. The public pool is quite small and is always very busy. The hotel is old, and even though check-in is at 2pm, our room wasn't ready until 3pm. When we arrived, we saw that the air conditioning was leaking, which had made the carpet wet. We called the staff, who sent a technician straight away to fix the problem and replace the carpet. However, five minutes later the air conditioning was leaking again, so the technician came back to fix it. This meant cleaning the air conditioning unit, which was noisy. We asked if we could change rooms and were upgraded to a villa room for free. Unfortunately, the room was next to the hotel's warehouse, and drilling started at 9 am on Sunday. We asked for another room and were told it would be available after midday. We went out for lunch and didn't come back until 3 p.m. We wanted to change rooms, but the staff said there were no other rooms available. I was not happy about this, so I spoke to the staff. After that, a room became available. The staff were very helpful, and I appreciated that they were doing their best to sort out the situation. The hotel is old, so there are always minor issues. For example, the toilet/pipe in our second room smelled really bad — like urine. It wasn't nice, so we never used the bathtub, but we didn't bother asking to change rooms again. We told the staff, who came and cleaned it straight away and offered us incense. If you don't mind staying in an older hotel and a good location is the most important thing for you, then this is a good place to stay. I wouldn't go back there because there are many newer, better places to choose from.
