Peaceful and Relaxing

Kubudiuma is a familiar place to us, and we have always enjoyed our stay there. Wayan and the team are incredibly helpful and will surely assist with anything you need. You can easily rent a scooter, get a gym pass, and receive advice on all local matters from them. Additionally, we love the swimming pool at Kubudiuma. The place is nice and peaceful, in the otherwise bustling area of Pererenan. There are many different restaurants nearby, and the beach is very close as well.

The place is quiet with infinity pool and a beautiful salon for breakfast (which was superb!) The room is masive with a little fridge. Everything was well kept and clean. Excellent quality-price The staff is very friendly, specially Wayan!

Excellent staff, enjoyable stay

It's a nice, spacious property that is well-maintained. The staff are excellent and extremely friendly. I stayed in the villa, which was clean and spacious, and equipped with a mini-fridge. The bed was super comfy, too. Breakfast was also good, with tasty continental options. The accommodation is next to a grocery shop, which was very useful for buying bottled water.

Great place and close to everything.

Lovely staff. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room. Aircon worked great. Having a circle k right outside was ideal. Close to the beach and so many restaurants and bars. Enjoyed the pool and comfy sun loungers.

I’d booked this after filtering for a gym/fitness centre in the search so thought it had a gym in the hotel or at least next door but it was actually a 15 minute walk away. Not the end of the world but it wasn’t clear from the listing and description.

Once a great place to stay

I have been staying at Kubudiuma for many years now and always loved it as a quiet, peaceful oasis. The staff are all exceptional, especially Wayan. I can't thank them enough and it's not their fault what is happening there.

Unfortunately, the front part of the villas and the lovely pool there have been demolished and it's now a building site. Masses of new villas also being built on adjoining blocks, so there is constant construction noise. The once peaceful yoga retreat at the bottom of the property now overlooks a polluted stream and a building waste dump. Really sad to see.

Away from the hustle

Great location away from the crowds and traffic. Clean. Comfortable bed and mossie net and air conditioner in room. Indoor/outdoor bathroom. Two pools. Simple breakfast. Friendly owner. Had a nice family atmosphere. People were there with children. Was within walking distance of the main entertainment area and close to beaches. Restaurants along the same street were lovely so we ate close to base. Little air-conditioned shop right outside the gate. Very convenient.

Villas are rustic and lovely but if there was noise from neighbours, children crying etc. you could hear it.

Staff were incredibly helpful especially the manager, couldn't do enough for you. Bed and pillows really comfy, great outside bathroom under the stars shower great WiFi great, location 4/5 min walk from beach and close to restaurants with scooter even better access to surrounding areas

The only thing was no mirror in the room, there was one above sink in bathroom but outside light needs to be better or one above the mirror.

Peaceful cabins with warm staff in A+ location near beach and Canggu

Gorgeous, basic cabins. So peaceful if you want that. Very polite and caring staff, especially the amazing gal, Sri (spelling?). My mother in law found it difficult to stay in the basic room, however, the manager and Sri upgraded our mother to a bungalow / cabin like ours which was very, very kind of them. The location is A+ for us as we love this quieter side of Canggu. It’s a short, peaceful walk to Pererenan beach and the restaurants and cafes, ice cream shop, etc and all top-level amazing food and treats. Loved Boheme for coworking, loved the Lebanese restaurant next door, the modern Indian (Rize), and Arte Pizza near the beach. Can walk or take a taxi to La Brisa and the beach restaurants to chill near the waves. Very easy to take a 25 min taxi to Tanah Lot. All in all, we do not regret staying here. Breakfast is simple but good! Just get a cabin room!!

The basic (cheapest) room was musty and the tiny TV didn’t have any working channels from the old fashioned antenna. The price is low, especially for the area, but the room (basic room only) is not that nice. Passable, yes. Just be aware of what you are getting. If you can, go for the cabin rooms, they are way better and quite lovely!

The manager is extremely helpful and cares alot about what you need, but the cleaning staff were a bit annoying as they knock of the door every hour starting 8:30 to clean the room even tho we are still sleeping since we are on vacation so we sleep in, the bed is not comfortable at all and makes noise whenever you move, breakfast is average, shower pressure was the best thing in the place lol.

Homey and welcoming

The staff was beyond kind and helpful. No matter the time nor the question, they always helped and answered nicely. We appriciated that. Also the whole area was really homey and our room was a beautiful Baliniese styled cabin. We loved the outdoor shower, it was really cozy. The breakfast was simple, yet super good. Considering the price we couldn’t have asked for more. The service itself was so nice that the whole experience was just perfect. We rented a scooter and tried the free gym, all and all great!
