The staff texted me asking if I wanted my room cleaned. I appreciated the text rather than just cleaning - very respectful. They also gave me a free room upgrade which was appreciated.

Location & value for money. Staff amazing

Getting old now. Needs a bit cash spent on it. The pool towels are fraying & need replacing. A jug & tea making would be handy seeing that there is a fridge in the rooms.

Excellent Hotel but Have to Improve the Wi-Fi

Breakfast was Good although no Indonesian Options and a Bit Overwhelming having Eggs and Avocado Each Day. Staff were Fantastic and a Credit to the Organization, they could not be more Helpful. Location was Great, plenty around and withing walking distance

The Wi-Fi was the WORST I have ever experienced in a Hotel overseas. There was also Construction going on next door from 7.30am each day, including the Sunday. The Hotel did give us Free Massages in compensation.

Great value eco resort. Superbly located near beach cafes. Comfy, quiet and friendly staff.

Superbly located just 3-4 min walk from Echo Beach and its great value sunset beach clubs (much better value and calmer than Seminyak) and only 1 min walk from a flea market. There's a well sized convenience store directly opposite and even a hairdressers next door. Also really good value for a 3* Hotel - I'd been eyeing up staying here for a week before I arrived due to the good reviews, value and beach proximity in Canggu. And ended up extending a week. It's not flawless (rooms could be spruced up a bit) but looking past that, it's really good value, comfort and location. Staff are very friendly and helpful and offered a free upgrade from a Double to a Garden Suite as it was more peaceful (I work remotely so not just a holiday) than the pool facing rooms, and a mosquito net over the bed. Someone had left a Netflix login on the TV too which was a handy bonus (when the WiFi worked). :D Really nice spa on-site, which is handy when you can quickly wash off the oil in your room then go for a gentle swim in the warm pool which is quite a luxury. :) Less than 10 min walk along the beach to the Canggu's most popular clubs (so long as tide is low). Else 20 mins walk by road, or 5 mins by scooter. Cafe serves nice food and is lovely to sit in and watch the world go by, possibly the nicest place to sit along the whole street: The strip of beach cafes a short jaunt down the road are hard to compete with though (cheaper and the roar of the ocean + sunsets etc).

WiFi in my room somewhat erratic, even though there's an AP at the end of the garden facing the building. Water and leaves (which contain water) naturally hamper WiFi signal so the ones growing over it could be cut back a little to help. Is fine by pool area and the cafe. Staff know some rooms have better WiFi, so can advise you if you specifically need it. I use a data SIM so always have a fallback. Bathrooms look a bit tired (the Twin especially). I think it's more a matter of tidier plastering along the room edges than actual dirt. And in the Twin especially the shower tiles are very stained, and the toilet bowls were streaked in both I stayed in. Maybe this is due to more eco-conscious cleaning compounds or the water in the area causes a buildup of scaling, which is just unsightly but not actually unclean.

I felt in good very good hands, appreciated the greenery and the staff authenticity

Staff was incredibly welcoming, nice and authentic. The pool was big enough to do mini-lanes and aqua gym. The pool area is very well and relaxing in the middle of a little green space area which is very calming even though it is just so close to a busy road. But entering the hotel you enter another sphere. The breakfast was excellent and scheduled until noon which was great for me

In my room there was no mosquito net, so I got "eaten" during night. A mosquito net would have been very much appreciated.

A lovely hotel exceeded all of my expectations

You could not get any nearer to the beach but when you were in the hotel and pool it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff were always on hand and were cheerful and polite.i used the onsite spa and was very impressed with the quality of staff

Great little retreat in the heart of Canggu

Room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The location is great if you want to be right amongst the action of Canggu. Very nice pool area, plenty of shade, greenery…nice and lush…could do with some more sun beds, but overall a great space to relax and be refreshed after exploring in the heat and traffic…Also the daily service of the room was much appreciated, and the housekeeping staff are so friendly.

The rooms could do with a bit of a refresh, especially the bathroom. It would be helpful to have a kettle in the room, to make coffee and tea…

Best value for money accomodation in canggu in my opinion

Reception was very helpful & upgraded my room, handy location to the beach, La Brisa, clothes markets, and cafes. I have stayed here many times and value for money is excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful

You ‘ll get so much extra value for your money when you book an upgrade. I got room 7 and got the most wonderful view : ) (and it’s still cheap compared to other hotels around).

The drinks and foods were quite expensive and not particularly nice (I paid 6,5€ for an ice- tea that I did not drink as it was extremely chemical). If I were you I would not book breakfast, but I would eat/ drink at one of the restaurants on the beach (3 minute walk).

Lovely spot to stay in Canggu

I had a comfortable stay at this accommodation. Walking distance to the beach. Pool nice to relax. Staff kind and informative. The spa on site was one of my favourite massages in Bali.

Unfortunately the yoga shala was closed due to damage but the staff informed me about a week before arrival and I was well informed. I enjoyed the pool more instead!

I love the location of this hotel and how close it is to everything! 1 min walk from La brisa Beach club, there are 3 mini marts right in front and a pharmacy and a spa. There is also 2 souvenir centers within walking distance and a lot of restaurants around it!

Great place and perfect location

this is our second time at the Ecosfera and next time we go to Bali it will be our third time, the staff here is absolutely amazing and there is the attitude of everything is possible. We were here for 5 nights and enjoyed everything the place had to offer food spa pool etc. The food is absolutely amazing the breakfast selections are some of the best we had on our entire trip. The pool is not the biggest pool but it is more than enough and its never crowded. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location in Canggu

Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. Sure, the hotel is a bit dated, but we're not staying in a 5* hotel. The staff is excellent. We had the family room, which was right next to the construction site. We briefly complained about it, and we were immediately upgraded to a suite for free. Thank you for that.

The only thing that could be included in breakfast is drinks like juice, etc. The coffee isn't suitable for children. A juice with it costs about half the price of breakfast, which is rather unusual for Bali.

Extremely dirty. The toilet was extremely dirty. I told the staff about out but they did do anything about it. The shower was bad as well. You could see mold on the wall

I had a wonderful stay at Ecosfera Hotel in Canggu 🌴✨ The location is perfect — right across from a little shop, just 50 meters from the beach, and nestled between two great surf spots 🏄‍♂️🌊 Special shoutout to Mr. Bagus 🙌 who went above and beyond when I arrived and found my original room a bit too small. He kindly helped me move to a larger, brighter room the next day — ideal for work and with a much better view 💻🌅 The vibe here is super chill, the pool area is cozy, and the restaurant serves a delicious à la carte breakfast 🍳☕ Definitely worth including in your stay. Thanks to the great service and location, my stay has been relaxing and productive. Big thanks again to Mr. Bagus for making it all happen! 🙏💛

Enjoyable stay with everything you need in one place

The staff at ecosfera made a difference in my stay for sure. From the pre-stay messages to the friendly smiles and helpful nature throughout my stay. The hotel is located conveniently very near to Echo Beach and within walking distance to La Brisa. Food served at the hotel's Green Spot Cafe is good as well. While it is not a huge hotel, it provides everything I needed from food, pool, comfortable room, in-house yoga and massages.

Mosquitoes! They did fogging during my stay but I still got bitten quite a lot. This may not be something that can be fully controlled so it didn't affect my stay too much.

LOVED IT!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ecosfera, in fact it was probably my favourite stay while I was in Bali. The pool & room were magnificent as well as the delicious food from the hotel restaurant. The quick walk to the beach & local market was so convenient & we didn't need to hire any taxi's while in Canggu.

Good location, rooms needs an update

I liked the location close to the beach, best sunset spot from the beach. Breakfast at green spot was very good.

Feel like the rooms need a little update. Room was ok, but bathroom was not so nice. Bad smell in the bathroom. The pool didn't look clean and very stong smell of clorine. I didn't feel like swimming in it.

Hit and miss - I liked the breakfast but so much of the hotel was far below my expectations.

The breakfast was good and the location was good too.

The wifi didn’t work, the rooms were dirty and had a peculiar smell, the air conditioner in our room was leaking, the communication between staff members was poor - it led to a pretty uncomfortable exchange with a member of staff when I checked out as I was accused of not settling my bill (I had done, but the member of staff dealing with it had made no note of my payment).
