This place was excellent, great comfortable room, spacious, comfortable with all the facilities you need, a lovely pool and great staff. Breakfast is not included but that didn't bother me as I don't really eat breakfast. Very clean, very friendly and at night they do excellent Japanese food. What more could you want.

A chic and affordable place nestled in a quaint village of stylish shops, cafes and restaurants.

Loved the central location - walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants, shops and cafes. Wasabi is part of quite the chic village. The staff were sensational - very helpful and professional. The rooms are fab, sound proof, lots of thoughtful touches like a wardrobe and mini fridge and robes ( I was in the deluxe room) - comfortable bed - loved the linen and Japanese fusion soft furnishings.

As is often the case in Bali these days, there was some construction next door, but the noise didn't detract from the overall experience. Loved the verandah with sunken lounge and pillows.

Reasonably priced hotel with some nice luxuries

Very quiet at night. Near good restaurants and good shops. Clean pool and all facilities well maintained. Good size room, large bed. Good tv and AC. Very helpful staff with reasonable english.

Bed was a little on the hard side. there can be a weird smell from the drains I think but it only happened on one day and the staff provided me with an essential oil burner. Otherwise, everything was very clean.

The room was beautiful and within walking distance of the beach. The room had a lovely balcony area, lovely smelling hand soap, fully kitted room including an anti-bug plug-in, fridge, kettle with tea, TV and a hair dryer. The staff were so lovely and the sushi was delicious! The staff even organised my taxi to Padang Bai for me.

Not so much an issue with the property but the area is very noisy with building work. That was the only downside for me although it didn’t really bother me that much. I’d happily stay again!

Good place to stay for everyone, single, groups or even families!

Everything was good and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Quite near to the beach and in the middle of good cafes, restaurants and bars. My 17 and 11 years old enjoyed their surfing days at the beach and beautiful burrito after that. It was at good part of canggu although not really at canggu. Will definitely come back to stay if we happen to be there again.

The staff were very nice. Communication was easy. It's in a great location. Short walk to the beach and many cafes and shops nearby.

The bathroom smelt so bad of rotting wood and mould - the air was so thick of the smell we gagged every time we needed to use the toilet. I can't describe in words how consumingly disgusting this smell was. I check the mattress seams of every hotel bed I'm sleeping on, whether its 1 star or 5 stars, to check for bed bugs. When I pulled the corner of the sheets up on the bed it was gross. So thick with dead skin, gunk and compressed dirt and fluff. No bugs - so that was good, but still dirty and terrible for anyone allergic to dust mites or asthma. There's construction next-door. There was a drill all day, also there's a road right next to the room. It's not busy, but when a scooter does pass, it's like it's in the room with you. Finally the aircon was really loud - like a jackhammer. I hate to leave a negative review - but it was such an uncomfortable stay I felt gross the whole time. Luckily we only stayed one night.

Lovely quiet little Oasis that is relaxing but close enough to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff

Loved the free breakfast. Staff were amazing at looking after us. Only thing I would want in the room is maybe somewhere to hang wet clothes and be good if we could have put our surf boards somehwhere. Would have been good to have tea and coffee replenished in the room.

Wouldn't stay again. Dark and Damp room.

Location was good. Close to restaurants, cafes and the beach.

Room was very dark and had the Bali damp mould smell. Found a big centipede in the room one morning so it's the dark, damp environment that attracts these insects. A lot of clutter in the room provided by the hotel so it's hard to find space for your stuff. Can find much nicer places for the same or cheaper price. Wouldn't stay here again.

Super short but fantastic stay in Wasabi

I stayed for less than 24hours but i still loved it! The room was just the right size for a single or double accommodation (i was travelling solo!), the property was strategically located with restaurants and shops all within walking distance and one of the most gorgeous gyms i’ve been too (pricey though but facilities were complete!). The breakfast served in Wasabi was really good and the best part was the team behind Wasabi - very responsive, accommodating and hospitable. I arrived at 1am, which was past their check in time and they made sure that someone was actually waiting for me :) And the property was super charming - definitely staying here again when i see myself in Bali again!

Nice place in canggu

The room is big and clean with a comfortable bed. You can ask the property help to rent a scooter.

From the pool you can see the tables of the restaurant (wasabi sushi) that are in part in front of the reception and the can see you relaxing.

Fantastic experience, great staff

Fantastic experience. I booked a room for my mother who does not speak english and everyone from the team were extremely helpful, carrying and friendly with her!! She swam in the pool a lot and the beach is only 8 minutes by foot, she swam there too :)) the breakfast is tasty and generous, room is clean and well designed, also it has AC and the fan, so you can choose what to use. Also has a fan in the outside sofa area.

The included breakfast was great. The restaurant was very nice for a fair price. The staff went out of their way for all guests. Everything was fantastic. Definitely one of the most priceworthy hotels in the area.

Amazing and friendly staff, comfortable rooms, the restaurant has the best fried rice, room service every day, little complimentary items when down by the pool provided by the wonderful staff, location is perfect and very close to delicious restaurants, fantastic shops and convenience stores.

Very noisy at night, but this could have been the time of year we stayed (New Years Eve). Lots of other guests slamming their doors in the middle of the night - the front door to the rooms aren't soundproof.
