Wonderful, warm and welcoming Stresa

The room was quite spacious, with an excellent bed and a large balcony. The room was also very clean. We had a free parking space. The hotel has a good location with restaurants/bars, grocery shops etc. close by, with easy commute to the "centro storico" Highly recommend

Clean and large room with a fantastic view overlooking the lake. Thank you for the complimentary water and coffee! The bathroom is large and towels are provided.

A bit of a walk sharing the street with cars as no real pedestrian walkway when coming from the train station but that’s for many parts of Stresa and the lake region.

A bit of a climb but we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the fans in the bedrooms as the rooms got quite hot and stuffy during the day. Although we were disappointed initially with the view from the balcony, we found it to be quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed sitting out there in the morning sunshine and enjoyed the coolness of the shade in the evening. After our initial surprise we enjoyed the church tower opposite striking the hours but were pleased that they stopped chiming between the hours of 19:30-8:00! Dario was helpful and friendly, responding to messages quickly and meeting us on arrival. Finding welcoming cold drinks in the fridge was much appreciated. We found Stresa to be a great place to be without a car. Transport links are good despite lack of trains at present and we could walk from the apartment to the lake in 10-15 minutes. We also walked to the other end of Stresa to visit the gardens at Villa Pallavicino and played a couple of rounds of mini golf. Coming back uphill is quite strenuous! safduemila.com offer a brilliant shuttlebus between the airport and the lake towns- book in advance.

We would have preferred larger towels and an area of more comfortable seating to relax but we managed this by taking the small table and chairs from the bedrooms onto the balcony. A taller family may need to watch out for the low angles of some ceilings and doorways.

A great location for visiting Stresa.

I was concerned about parking but this was adequate in the nearby streets. The host was very friendly and reacted almost immediately to all requests. The shared bathroom was very clean and had a great shower. The bed was comfortable. There was a shared breakfast balcony area. There was a small shared kitchen area including microwave and fridge. The property is located about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Stresa.

Nothing really but the bedroom was small and be aware of the shared bathroom this isn't for everyone.

A good base for wandering around the town, for visiting the Boromae Islands and travelling by train.

We loved this reasonably priced place, next to the church, for its idyllic atmosphere, overlooking the lake, with well-equipped kitchen, large bathroom with hot shower and good wi-fi. Besides we were impressed by the owner's cat.

Cheap relaxing stay at Lago Maggiore

The rooms had a shared balcony with a very pretty view on the lake, also situated in a quieter more authentic part of Stresa The owner had left us some water bottles and juices in the fridge (which could be used by everyone) Bathroom and bedroom were very clean

One of the best place for staying and enjoying an atmosphere of lake Maggiore.

Very nice, clean and cozy place. You can find everything what you need for comfortable staying. This place has a common kitchen , bathroom and amazing terrace with incredible view on lake Maggiore. Also, a very speedy Wi-Fi and coffee machine with different coffe for any choice. Manager Dario is a very open and communicative person.

Great stay, good value for money.

We enjoyed our morning coffee with beautiful view in one of the Fruit'n Joys balcony . The owner was very nice and helpful and gave us a few restaurant's recommendations which were visited later by us. The appartment was very clean and equipped with all of the things you basically need such as coffee maschine, fridge, glasses, plates etc. We also enjoyed free welcome candies and softs. Highly recommend to everyone.

Nice apartment and kind owner. There are 2 bedrooms and it’s very comfortable for 4 persons, the kitchen is well-equipped, bathroom is fine.

Location is very far from Stresa city center, it’s located in Carciano fraction, from the Lake you have to “climb” around 10 -15 mins which is very hard for old people and/or babies. The apartment does not have air-conditioning, cleaning must be improved, in the rooms we found cobweb.

The view is amazing and it's a lovely spot

It said it was a penthouse apartment and shows outdoor lounges to relax on. Unfortunately you can only see the views if you're on the floor as it's actually more like an attic apartment, and the verandah is actually not facing the beautiful view, however it's still a wonderful spot.

Nothing really. One must be aware that it is a bit outside of the downtown and to get to all shops and restaurants its a 30min plus walk.We had bikes so no problem at all.
