Property ok for what we needed but could be better with a few improvements
Great location, good sized property with great potential
Maintenance and cleaning need attention. The lamp in the living room was snapped, didn’t try turning on as dangerous. The lamps in the main bedroom were missing the part to turn them on and off, had to turn off at the wall. Mirror on floor in bedroom instead of on wall. Mattresses not very comfortable The oven was filthy and after heating up a lasagne the whole of downstairs smelt of acrid old grease. Such a shame as the property has a lot of potential

Dirty moldy and gross place . Not worth the money
    The easy check in
The place was very dirty .I have pictures The kitchen sponges were old, warn out and nasty No paper towels Freezer was full of frost ice Towels had stains Bed topper was caked with food and who knows what Pillow cases were stained and the pillows were terrible. And when I looked in the store closet there was a pile of old pillows stacked on the floor next to the water heater with no protection from all the chemicals The cabinets were moldy and dirty There were no paper towels and we had to ask for them and new sponges which the person replied they couldn't leave the front desk. Didn't even offer for us to come pick some up. So we didn't get any until the next night. The master bedroom had a dirty stained mattress and the celling had mold growing and it smelled of mold. We were told check out was at 10 however the book stated a 1030 checkout. The drive wasn't cleared of snow and our car got stuck. We had to go buy kitty litter to even park The washer was moldy and disgusting so we couldn't even do a load of laundry which is one of the reasons I booked this place. I have many more pictures but blanket only post 4. I feel like we should be refunded because this place was very expensive and so gross

    Waverley Inn warning.
Location was fantastic and parking right outside the door and off the road is great.Inverness is a lovely place to visit.House is warm and cozy and is appealing from the street. Many toilets.
I raised a couple of issues with Robert the manager but replies came from a woman who was rude and dismissive. The bins outside were overflowing, and the dishwasher had no tablets so bring your own.Bring your own matress protectors too as this was the most disgusting accomodation I have ever booked and fooshly lifted the sheerts the morning after... The double bed is broken and wins Britain's worst bed.The bonus is that check in is whenever you want as the neighbours arrived at 1.15am and shouted loudly trying to park their car in the snow and continued to crash around till 3.30am.Locks on all bathroom doors are broken.Read reviews before booking.I should have.....

    Inconvenient stay and location
The only good thing is there are 2 double rooms and 1 single that we got at a good price
    - they were a lot of issues in the space - the heaters did not work properly - the en-suite room had a leakage which thankfully we noticed water dripping in the downstairs living room - we were 5 people using 1 bathroom which was so inconvenient - the living area and kitchen were chilled because heater were not that efficient - not the most convenient location

    Worth every penny
Spacious, modern, great facilities, stylish, accommodating bathroom facilities for disabled, great location, plenty of parking, easy access on check in, WiFi good overall was perfect for us at Xmas and great value for money
Mattress in double bed needs changing as not very comfy and springs gone, settee and chairs uncomfortable, needed a sweeping brush.

★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Stay After a Supposed “Upgrade”
★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Stay After a Supposed “Upgrade” We booked what looked like a lovely property in Inverness with the features we wanted — parking, a bath, and a convenient location. Shortly after booking, we were told we’d been given a free upgrade, which initially made us excited for our stay. Things went downhill from there. We accidentally arrived at the property we originally booked, and it looked great — clean, spacious, and exactly what we expected — so we were puzzled why an upgrade was even necessary. After realising we needed to collect the keys elsewhere, we went to the guest house. The person at reception was not helpful; when we asked for directions, we were told to “just use Google Maps,” and when we asked about parking, we got a rude “no, you need to find somewhere.” When we arrived at the upgraded apartment, we had to park at a neighbouring hotel and pay for an hour just so we could unpack, because building works outside the property made it impossible to stop anywhere nearby. After that, we still had to drive around and find another car park for the rest of our stay — not ideal when parking was one of the main features we needed. Once inside, the apartment felt more like a downgrade. The place didn’t meet our expectations of “clean.” There was hair on the floor, the oven tray hadn’t been cleaned, and the mats hadn’t been wiped over. This was especially frustrating as we had been sent an email reminding us to leave the apartment clean or risk being charged a cleaning fee — yet the standard we walked into didn’t reflect that message at all. We contacted them about both the so-called upgrade and the condition of the apartment, but instead of any meaningful response, we just received a generic message asking us to leave a review. Overall, it really felt like we were shown a lovely property online only to be moved to a much smaller, less cared-for apartment. If you’re offered a “free upgrade,” be cautious — our experience definitely didn’t feel l

Great location - could be great with a little more TLC
Brilliant location – quiet and convenient – and the living room was spacious. Beds were comfy and having 2.5 bathrooms is great.
A few maintenance issues let it down, including bathroom locks not working (as a few people have previously mentioned), limited and chipped mugs and glasses, and a lamp with a broken fitting. There is only seating for four in the kitchen so we had to improvise for our fifth guest. The TV had to be retuned each time we turned it on. With a little more care and attention, it would be a perfect stay in Inverness.
