Amazing! Great location! Value for money!

The hosts were at the reception desk which is right at the entrance. They were very warm and friendly and took us right up to our cabin. The cabin/lodge itself was very spacious and CLEAN and had all amenities - Oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, mini fridge, big sofa with tons of cushions, handwash in bathroom, toilet paper, kitchen roll, dishwash liquid, even a mini broom! The bed on the lower level was cleverly folded up against the wall and was already made. There was a bed/mattress on the attic which again was made, very clean, with sufficient pillows and all bedding. There were also plenty of windows in the lodge so it was airy. The bathroom was very clean with lots of fluffy white towels. The lodge itself is located in a very nice location - there is a Scotmid Co-op just a 15-min walk away, and the city centre is just a 30-min walk away. It's right by the beautiful Caledonian canal, and the Inverness botanical gardens are also very closeby. The hosts also helped us to get taxis when one of our pre-booked tours cancelled. There is also a place for food right at the entrance where you can grab a warm breakfast, lunch or dinner, and there is also the Beefeater pub just there too. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

September weekend lodge

Have stayed in a similar lodge before, and we keen to stay in another. The lodge was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a long weekend. Its big, yet cosy enough. We stayed as a family of 3, so we had plenty of room. The beds were super comfy, glasses, cutlery plates etc provided as well as working amenities inc microwave. Located around 20-30 minute walk into the city centre of Inverness, easy enough to find on a straight walk however is quite dark and lonely at night. next door to a beefeater and bar which we enjoyed. the on site food stall was great, we used most mornings for breakfast and loved it! the full park cannot be faulted, we found it to be clean, well equipped and the staff were there if required. we would definitely be back, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodge

The only thing was that we could have used a few more pillows and wish we had brought more for comfort. however some users may prefer less.

The property was clean and in a good location to the city

The property was badly equipped. Not even providing the most basic kitchen equipment for a self catered facility. The bed pillows were bursting out of their protective covers and there was no mattress protector.

Lodge was clean and comfortable. Great location for many routes.

No WiFi the 3 days we were there even though it says WiFi available so rather upset 10 year old. The location of our lodge not great as every morning we had campervans sitting queuing at our front door so they could empty their waste!

Not what we expected

Clean, quiet, area nearby was lovely

The description did not make it clear this is a mobile home/caravan and that it does not have 2 separate bedrooms as implied. One double bed was on a small mezzanine with no head space and accessed by a step ladder, it may suit children but we were unable to use it . The second double bed is a pull down bed in the dining area, using this means you have to climb over each other, can not use the dinning table and is open to the rest of the accommodation, so offers no privacy. For the price, which was expensive, we had expected a 2 bedroom lodge, sadly that wasn’t the case. We ended up booking other accommodation for out 2 friends as it was not suitable for 4 adults unless you are family members happy to have no privacy. There was no engagement from any member of staff, I had to chase arrival information and on one occasion the office was open I went to get some tourist info, but the staff did not offer any assistance and clearly wanted me to leave so they could lock up. We booked for 9 days, there were no cleaning supplies provided apart from a dustpan and brush and there was no service provided. There was no change of linen or towels either. Internet access is listed but we found this rarely worked, maybe due to many others accessing it at the same time.
