It’s near the town centre, but still in a peaceful area with the beautiful view of the bridge. The shower was fab, the host was super friendly, and we were welcomed by adorable cats and dogs. We’ll definitely come back!

Comfortable, quiet and welcoming

The location was perfect for us. Had a view of the water. It is in a residential area, very quiet and comfortable. The room was perfect for us, comfortable and had everything we needed. Lynn is a wonderful host. She provided a lot of information of the area and suggested many places to visit and to eat. She greeted us when we arrived and ensured we were comfortable.

There is nothing I didn't like. Lynn said she is remodeling the entrance area for the guests. Guest should know that the stairs to the rooms is still combined with the current house. They may be a little hard to manage for some people and not suite case friendly. We managed fine, but sometimes can be a concern. Well worth it for the accomodations.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood of Inverness. Host was nice and helpful. The room was everything we needed we just didn't realize it was so far out. Not the hosts fault. It's difficult to know exactly the area you are booking.

For me its a lot of stairs but then that is ALL of Europe and part of the charm.

Stunning Property with Exceptional Hospitality

This beautiful property offers views of the water. The room is immaculate and has a super comfortable mattress, WiFi, and a gorgeous bathroom with a 10/10 shower that has excellent water pressure and temperature control. After hiking all day, a nice shower was much appreciated. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the host. She is warm, welcoming, and full of helpful local tips. Thank you for being so lovely !

The sensor light in the loo meant flooding the bedroom with light in the night. It’s also a bit too far to walk into the town.

The best sleep + beautiful views

The best sleep we had during our road trip through Scotland. Such a lovely host too and accommodating. Beautiful views of Inverness. The bed was so incredibly comfortable. Kettle was also nice and clean. Shower was great. Large TV. Thank you!!

Will definitely return and stay there again

Host was excellent,friendly came and introduced herself, told us great places to go and visit, that are not always on the tourist websites and couldn’t do enough to help us. Fully recommend it to couples.

Loveley location up high overlooking the estuary. Lin the host was excellent in helping with our every need. Really good accommadation.

Cosy place to stay

The apartment was cosy and very clean. We were welcomed by the owner, who was lovely, and waved off too when we left. A very personal stay. It felt very homely even though we only stayed for one night.

The room was convenient for a one night stay.

Breakfast not included - but we knew that. Parking facilities and size of room and bathroom, wifi connection were all good. Everything clean - but see below.

Narrow and steep stairs to get to the room. Would suggest it was for younger people. Lots of room in shower - however there was some spots of black mould on the shower sealant which could be easily cleaned (anti mould spray, and re-sealing if necessary.) We needed to travel to eat, as no local facilities.

No.9 a great overnight stay and explore of Inverness

The location is ideal for scenic viewing and then walking along the beginning of the Caledonian Canal. There is a pub and petrol/shop within walking distance but it is hilly, well we are in Scotland after all! The owner is very accommodating and helpful.

That I only booked 1 night! I should have stayed longer.

Absolute Gem !!!

Our room was immaculate! The host (Lynn) was magnificent, she was so friendly and warming it felt like we had known her for years, there is nothing we didn't like about No 9. If we are up that way again we will definitely be staying there. Also a very biker friendly place and you can get your bikes under the carport, security wise it is a very safe neighbourhood and it has CCTV.

Walking in to Inverness is a steady 20 minute walk but I'd recommend taking a taxi back as it is uphill in places.

Very convenient and enjoyable stay near Inverness.

This lodging is within 10 minutes of downtown Inverness, which makes it very convenient to going into town for dinner or a nice stroll. The room was very clean and comfortable and Lynn, our host, was very helpful.

Super friendly and helpful host

The host, Lynn, was super friendly and helpful. We had a dental emergency and Lynn went above and beyond to assist us. There are views from the home, and easy access to the city.
