Location is great and very peaceful. Well thought out accommodation - Kitchen has lovely cooking facilities and nice breakfast bar. Beautiful bedroom with a very comfy bed and good storage. We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this truly lovely lodge… Calum and Margaret were so welcoming and kind as our hosts and their lodge is really special. Cosy, immaculate, beautiful decor throughout and super comfortable with every facility you could possibly need including a fully equipped kitchenette. Location perfect for exploring Inverness and surrounding areas of the highlands. Absolutely can highly recommend a stay here - it is just perfect in every way! In a word - Fabulous! Absolutely beautiful little home away from home!

Rammal Lodge was the home away from I needed at this point of our journey! We met Margaret and Callum when we arrived, but they were very discreet and left us to ourselves for the duration of our stay. We walked in, and it’s exactly as pictured, smells beautiful and is in a nice quiet location on the edge of town. It’s only five years old, and all the fixtures and fittings are lovely and modern, perfectly maintained and exceptionally clean. Only a short drive to the city centre where we found reasonably priced high rise parking allowing us to walk around and see the sights and eat out. It was also very conveniently placed for all our outlying adventures we had planned at Loch Ness and Urkhart Castle. The lodge has everything you could need for a few peaceful days away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy centres but still close enough if you want to drive into the city.

Very spacious, clean and homey. We were lucky to be just a few minutes away from the very noisy and crowded downtown in a peaceful neighborhood, but still close enough to easily access the downtown shops and restaurants.

Really nice stay, right down to having a nightlight.

Impeccably detailed, and Margaret and Colum were excellent hosts. Had an issue with the washer and they fixed it pronto! Their puppy and two kitties were entertaining. A very easy-to-access location and we appreciated the quiet.

Absolutely no complaints. It was the best lodging we’ve had in Scotland!

A comfortable stay made possible by kind and thoughtful hosts.

The unit was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen which we found helpful. We also liked the parking spot. But most of all, we liked the warmth of Margaret and Callum, welcoming but not at all intrusive.

Nothing to dislike but a few hooks to hang up clothes would be helpful.

Lovely and comfortable!

The lodge had lovely decor. Great location, had a local shop, chinese takeaway and Indian less than 10 minute walk away and was very close to city centre by car or bus. Met host when we arrived who was very friendly and helpful. You can tell the Host put lots of effort into making the lodge as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Great value for money!

Wonderful little place

Quiet but convenient location. Hosts really friendly and helpful. Able to park the car in front of the property. Beautifully decorated throughout and absolutely spotless. The place smelt lovely when we walked in and so did the towels and bedding. Very well equipped kitchen, lovely lounge area and comfortable bedroom. Spacious bathroom with hot shower. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Somewhere to sit outside in the evening would be nice.

Lovely stay!!!

Lovely clean space with everything you need to create your own little home from home. Very comfortable bed and great kitchen and bathroom space. Calum and Margaret were so lovely. We’re doing NC500 for my husbands 30th birthday and they went out of their way to get him a lovely card and gift. We were so grateful.

it was very clean, modern and comfortable. the couple who ran it were amazing. the fact that booking.com hadn’t passed our booking or payment on and they were not expecting guests didn’t stop them being very accommodating. we showed them our booking and payment and they hadn’t been informed of either. get your act together Booking.com.

Ein ruhiges komfortables Domizil für Auto-Touren in alle Richtungen um Inverness.

Die Unterkunft liegt in Form einer Lodge auf dem Grundstück der Eigentümer, mit eigenem Zugang und absoluter Privatsphäre. Es ist absolut ruhig in der Umgebung und das Gebäude ist gut isoliert. Die Lodge ist modern und gut ausgestattet aber nicht überladen. Für 2 Personen hat es genau gepasst. Die Lage am Stadtrand von Inverness ermöglicht viele Touren von dort aus in alle Richtungen der Highlands oder in den Norden von Schottland. Für Golfspieler ebenfalls nicht uninteressant. Das Fahrzeug konnten wir in der gemeinsam genutzten Einfahrt parken. Wir können die Lodge sehr empfehlen, zumal die Gastgeber sehr bemüht und freundlich, jedoch nicht aufdringlich sind.

Es gibt keinerlei fußläufig erreichbare Geschäfte oder ähnliches, lediglich ein Bistro - Restaurant am Golfplatz, welches saisonal geöffnet hat. Ein Auto ist erforderlich für alle Fälle. Ein Bus fährt nur bis ca. 20:00 Uhr in das Wohngebiet. Das sollte man einplanen. Dafür hat man dann aber auch absolute Ruhe!
