Cosy home from home for our little family.

Gorgeous little home from home! The apartment is spotless and really well maintained. There are lots of things already there in the kitchen to help out if you arrive without much. All of the appliances available. The bedrooms are super cosy and the living room we found homely to chill together in as a family. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was nice and powerful. Thanks so much to the owner Allan for checking in and keeping communication open. It was only a 10 minute drive from Inverness and we also had a lovely hike up Craig Dunain which is walking distance. We'd love to return!

There is nothing to dislike! Only thing to flag is to keep an eye on the shower tray and make sure you don't shower too long as the water doesn't drain quick enough.

It was further out of Inverness than we thought it would be. So a long walk if you want to walk into the city and was coming uphill back. We found good parking in the city though and it didn’t become a problem .

Great property for a short family break!

Host messaged with lock box code and we gained entry with no issues. Property was ideal for us, spacious rooms, all facilities were perfect, enough dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods to last us our stay, although we didn’t use them. A little breakfast/tea/coffee/snack tray was a perfect unexpected addition.

Sofa and beds weren’t the comfiest but done us fine for the few nights we were there.

Exceptional

Kitchen, full bathroom, washer, and two bedrooms; could it really be better; it was located on the west side of Inverness in a quiet neighborhood which proved safe for our bikes as we set up for our bike packing tour. Cabs were easy to come by, and while it may have cost a bit extra with most of our events located on the central and east sides. I would Book again.

FYI, because if it was written for us I didnt remember. We arrived after midnight and the door is located on the side of the 4 plex, this made it difficult to locate without feeling creepy. As soon as we realized our error on the location this was minor. Locking the door, seemed complicated. Fast forward into our Scotland tour I think this is common with locking mechanisms; coming from Canada locking exclusively with deadbolts needing to manipulate the handle while turning the key needed to be explained.

Everything. It was easily located. There was parking right outside the front door. It was VERY SPACIOUS and very comfortable. Brilliant facilities!

Great place and location short distance to walk to town and caledonian canal

The flat was good and clean with very good facilities, kept in very good order and cleaned. the disapionting bit was the bed the next day i was covered in bites believed to be from bed bugs, the bed could do with good steam clean to get rid of these bugs and all sheets and blankets boil washed. the extra covers and duvet and pillows are just flung in a cupboard not very hygenic and should be washed and put on shelf or plastic bags.

The only bad bit was the bed and blankets, every thing slse was perfect and clean for the price which is excellent value for money. Every thing you need for home to holiday.

Booking agent did not send me email to give me key code to get door key. Luckily I note down a phone number so happen is Landlord...and I left a message seeking for help. Landlord return my call and tell me the key code....as I did call to Booking.com but no one gives me the key code....or able to follow up. The agent says she is from Egypt ....anyway agent did not give me the KEY CODE....

Excellent value/ Clean/ family & pet friendly and ideally situated

1. Excellent value, I cannot stress this enough. 2. Ideally located in the middle to access things ie tourist destinations/shops/ restaurants (family/residential area and we felt safe importantly) 3. Clean and minimal decor 4. Basics there ie tea/coffee/ oil/ cooking equipment and ofocurse bedding and towels. 5. Pet friendly 6. Lovely neighbours you share the small courtyard at the apartment with made us aware of local walks we could do with our dog 7. Very clear of what we were getting from the pictures of the rooms (it looked identical). 8. We arrived early and were allowed to check in early. 9. The owners were very responsive to our emails but also provided us with a contact number. If we had needed them at any point during our stay I have no doubt that we would jave been able to.

(Liked everything but thought we'd mention points to make it even better, please note these are minor things. If you are considering booking I would recommend it, we wished we had booked longer) 1. Coasters permanently out in living room/bedroom (I know there was a set in the kitchen for use to eat at the table) might be worth having a set so people don't mark the wood on the furniture. 2. Larger drinking glasses (pint glasses) as they were a little small. 3. Wasnt very clear on the initial booking it was an apartment/ground floor flat. (Not a negative for us but due to minimal images and name we assumed it was a semi/semi detached property/cottage until closer to our trip when I was looking through the reviews and thought this may also catch other people out). 4. Possibly a basic info booklet in a plastic wallet including local walks/ best takeaways and restaurants/ taxi numbers or local bus links and things to do for an extra touch.
