Great little pod

A little more information on getting the bed down and the heating system would have been nice. Location was excellent for hitting Loch Ness and nearby places,, not as much for a beer or something to eat within a decent walk.

Fab lodge, great location and staff

What a fab place to stay! Great location and on site staff were so friendly! My boys loved it and so did I. We will be back for sure!

Travel nest who manage the rental kept sending emails, asking to get in touch with the owner. When I did, I got the distinct feel that she couldn't be bothered speaking to any of her customers. Thankfully on site staff made up for it by being super nice and helpful. Only thing that I would suggest is a bbq for the lodge would be a great addition.

We were actually in lodge 2.

Clean, compact but well designed. We chose to use the pull down bed as the mezzanine was a little beyond my capabilities. Kids would love this though. It’s a lovely leisurely 30 min walk into the city along a beautiful canal & really riverside walk. You pass Eden Court theatre where we stopped for lunch with the added bonus of their ‘Under Canvas’ festival where we listened to some great folk bands. The location is superb right next to the Caledonian Canal. There’s a food stall at the entrance (the BlackBox) which serves up good but basic fayre. The cabin had a good decking area with bench seating which was covered for those times when it infrequently rains in Scotland. 🙂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 we left with us wishing we’d booked for a longer stay. We’re a 3 hr drive away so I think we’ll be back.

It wasn’t a major point for us but you are in a campsite. There are motorhome pitches in front of you so if it’s glorious isolation you want you’re not going to get it. We’re veteran campers so we liked the sharing and mixing with the various nationalities Swiss, German & French plus those from the Uk.

המתחם הוא מתחם קראוונים, מה שקצת הפתיע אותנו כי בתמונה באתר ראינו רק בקתות. המחיר היה קצת יקר יחסית לבקתה קטנה, הנמצאת במרחק חצי שעה הליכה ממרכז אינברנס. מה שעוד הפריע הוא שלא היה Wi-fi בבקתה ולא תמיד היתה קליטה בטלפון. אבל למרות כל זאת היתה שהות מאוד נעימה כי הבקתה היתה מצויידת יפה ולמרות שהיתה צפופה לארבעה מבוגרים ומתאימה יותר לזוג או מקסימום זוג עם ילד, היה נחמד כי הסביבה יפהפייה והשירות מאוד אדיב.

לא היה Wifi למרות שהובטח לנו שיהיה ושילמנו על זה.

Schöne und saubere Unterkunft.

Die Lodge befindet sich an einer sehr ruhigen und schönen Lager. Da wir gegen Ende der Saison vor Ort waren und wenige Camper auf dem Gelände Waren, gab es auch viel Grünfläche für unser Kind. Zudem war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Bei der Ankunft waren wir überrascht, als wir kein 2. Schlafzimmer vorgefunden haben und die angegebenen Quadratmeter vermutlich inkl. Terrasse und Parkplatz gelten. Es sind zwar zwei Schlafplätze vorhanden, 1x ein abklappbares Wandbett und ein weiteres Bett auf einer Art Terrasse, diese kann man aber nur mit einem Vorhang abtrennen. Da wir mit der Familie gereist sind, war das ok, aber vielleicht als Freunde oder nur Bekannte nicht ideal.
